CTbites’ Founder, Stephanie Webster will be dancing at The Wall Street Theater’s “Dancing with the Stars of Connecticut!”  The event features community leaders, (including Greer Fredericks from Peaches & Chef Plum!), who will kick up their heels to benefit WST Broadway Teens of Connecticut.  Cheer them on Saturday March 30th. Buy tickets (starting at $25) or just VOTE for the “bass lady” here any time before the event.

Wine and cookie dough?!  Yes, please!  On Saturday March 30, Stonington Vineyards invites you to try wine flights alongside DoughLuv edible cookie dough. 

On Monday March 25, attend Wakeman Town Farm’s “Lunch & Learn: Beginner Indian Cooking” with Indian Home Cook Parul Kamboj of Parul’s Kitchenette LLC.  It costs $40 per person and runs from 111m-12:30pm. 

Eleven local eateries are participating in Woodbury Restaurant Week 2019, which will be held from March 24-30.  They are: Carlito’s, The Charcoal Chef, Constantine’s, John’s Café, Market Place Kitchen & Bar, Mix Prime Steakhouse, Fish, & Sushi Bar, Good News Restaurant & Bar, San Remo Restaurant & Pizzeria, The Olive Tree, The Split Rail, and The Woodbury Diner.  These participating restaurants will offer select menus and/or discounts during the event. 

The Terrain culinary crew will join the team at Amis Trattoria for a unique menu takeover featuring Terrain’s authentic farm-fresh flavors. The event will take place throughout dinner service on March 26 and menu items will be served a la carte alongside the regular menu.  Tickets are $80 per person and the event lasts from 6:30-8:30pm. 

On Wednesday, March 27, Bernard’s presents an evening of Dinner & Dancing.  Join Morten & Mira of Ridgefield’s Fred Astaire Dance Studio for a 3 course pre fixe dinner- and dancing!- for $50 (Beverage, tax & 20% service charge additional)

The Oyster Club in Mystic invites you to “Supper Series: Women's Work” on Sunday March 31 from 6:30-9:30pm.  Join them in celebrating the talented women in their restaurant family and the farmers, fisherwomen and artisans in our food community. They’ll serve five courses with drink pairings. 

AMG Catering is showing us that “Spring is in the Air” with a cooking class inspired by the season.  On Wednesday March 27, work with work with leeks, lemons, strawberries, chives, asparagus, radishes, fennel, spinach and arugula. 

Millwrights in Simsbury hosts a Game Dinner on Wednesday March 27 at 6:30pm.  Tickets are $115 per person, which includes a 5 course dinner, beverage pairings, tax and gratuity. 

On Wednesday March 27, Washington Prime in SoNo will have a Frank Family Vineyards Wine Dinner.  They will pair 5 courses with wines from this prestigious Napa Valley producer.  It is $95 per person.   

Chop Shop Cooking will teach you how to whip up Asian Treats on Thursday 3/26.  The menu includes Chicken Yuzu Gyoza with Ponzu Sauce, Sesame Soba Noodle Bowl with Crispy Tofu & Pickled Cucumbers, Korean Shrimp & Kimchi Pancake, and Vietnamese Meatball Lettuce Wraps with Cashew Basil Sauce & Mango Slaw. 

Rothbard Ale + Larder is giving us a crash course on German beer on Thursday March 28.  Tony Pellino of B. United Imports and OEC will guide you through brews and food pairings.  It costs $40 per person and starts at 6:30pm. 

Wildflour Confections in Seymour will celebrate its 4th birthday on Saturday March 30 from 9am-5pm. Join them for cupcakes, confections, and plenty of sugar!  Find them at 18 Bank Street.

On March 31 from 2pm to 6pm, The IRONS is bringing together top New England chefs to battle it out and win best brisket. Each chef will prepare their favorite brisket plus two sides. Attendees will be able to sample each brisket with the sides and vote for people’s favorite.  Competing chefs are Shawn O'Regan of The IRONS Restaurant and Bar, Ed Tremblay of the Holiday Inn Boston-Bunker Hill, and Mo Jalil of the Madison Beach Hotel.  Tickets are $25. 

The Study at Yale is partnering with CPTV to host a cocktail reception celebrating the advanced screening of the premier episode of Les Miserables.  On Sunday March 31, enjoy a delicious array of passed hors d’oeuvres before the show at the Shubert Theater.  Ticket includes unlimited hors d'oeuvres, two drink tickets (soda, wine, beer, mixed drinks), preferred seating at the Shubert, and a Masterpiece tote bag. 

Carbone’s Prime has launched an all-new Sunday Brunch service!  Offered Sundays from 11am-3p, the menu includes traditional Brunch dishes as well as favorites from the restaurant’s regular menu.
