The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford hosts A Taste of History 2017 on Monday April 3 at 5pm.  The evening begins with a premier reception at 5pm and culminates with a food tasting, a cocktail tasting, music, a tour, and art inspired activities. 

Fermented beverages are prevalent, but what about fermented foods?  Learn about them and their health benefits at the Barrel Room in North Canton, CT on Monday April 3.  The class will cover foods like water kefir, milk kefir and kimchi. 

Connecticut Hops For Hope returns for its second benefit, Beers For Brittany, on Sunday, April 23rd. The event will be held at the brand new Counter Weight Brewing in Hamden, and 100% of ticket sales, in person donations, and on site raffle ticket sales will benefit Brittany Vellucci, a young woman fighting through brain cancer. Bar Sugo hosts a game dinner on Tuesday April 4 at 6pm.  It costs $75 per person, plus tax and tip… and that includes beer and wine.

The Spread, Gathering Harvests, and Harry's Wine & Liquor present a wine dinner on Tuesday April 4 at 7pm at The Spread in South Norwalk.  The event features Fullerton wines and special guest Eric Fullerton.

AMG Catering’s Adult Spring Cooking Classes are in full swing!  Wednesday April 5 marks their “Eat Your Veggies” class with fresh seasonal vegetables like leeks, lemon, asparagus, radishes, baby carrots, artichokes, arugula and more. 

On Wednesday April 5, elm restaurant in New Canaan hosts a Failla wine dinner.  The boutique wines herald from the Sonoma Coast.  The event runs from 6:30-9:30pm. 

The IRONS Restaurant and Bar in Mystic, CT invites you and your special someone to make Thursday night date night!  From 6-10pm, couples can partake in an appetizer, entrée, shared dessert, and bottle of wine for $45 (plus tax and tip). 

Hardcore Sweet Cupcakes in Oakville, CT hosts a Sweet Spring Kids Class on Saturday April 8 at 11am.  Children ages 6-12 can make Garden Cupcakes with mini Lemon Blueberry Loaves and Sugar Cookie Decorating. 

On Saturday April 8, join OEC Brewing in Oxford, CT for a “Three Sour Tour.”  The in-depth two hour tour also includes an OEC Tasting Glass, a full Pour of your choice, the chance to taste two “unfinished” beers from the barrel, three vintage OEC bottles, and sneak peeks at upcoming OEC projects. 

Registration is now open for A Novel Affair at the Ferguson Library in Stamford.  The event, which will be held on Wednesday April 19, is an evening of food and festivities to support the library. 

Tito’s vodka is turning 20 and CRAVE in Fairfield is hosting their anniversary celebration on Friday April 7.  The anniversary celebration and charity event will feature cocktail samples, raffles, prizes and giveaways.  With every Tito’s cocktail sold a $2.00 donation will be made to the Fighting Angels Foundation charity.

Bull & Swine in New Haven hosts an epic BBQ Brunch on Saturdays.  Join them from 11am-3pm and enjoy bottomless mimosas, bloody mary's on draft, cold brew coffee on draft, bbq poutine, house made bisquits, fried chicken, waffles, and more!

On Saturday April 8, Two Roads is teaming up with Allagash for Saison Day.  Four Allagash beers will be on draft in our tasting room saisons from Two Roads while supplies last. Caseus will provide complementary cheeses throughout the day.  The festivities begin at 12pm. 

Mediterraneo of Norwalk & East End in Greenwich has announced a jazz brunch. Join them on Sundays from 11am - 4pm on Sundays for live music, new brunch menu, bottomless Mimosas, Bloody Mary's, and $1 oysters.

On Sunday April 9, The Beer Collective in New Haven will host a Beer Brunch featuring New England Brewing Company (NEBCO).  The four course meal will be accompanied by 6 beers: Sea Hag, Comb Over Saison with Apricots, Elm City Pils, Supernaut, Imperial Stout Trooper, and Barrel Aged Imperial Stout Trooper.
