Olde Mistick Village, the iconic shopping and dining experience with a colonial village atmosphere, will be hosting its 15th Annual Garlic Festival on Sept. 17 and 18. This award-winning food festival is dedicated to all things garlic. To celebrate the abundant fall harvest, farmers from the region will present an amazing variety of garlic for sale. They will also be selling fresh produce, jams, preserves, syrups, honey, herbs, baked goods, and more.

Lachat Farm offers: The Wonderful World of Honey Bees - Honey Bees 102

Exciting and fun opportunity for 3rd, 4th, 5th graders to join the Bee Friends - Bee Club to observe and learn about the wonderful and amazing world of honey bees. This program is similar to the previous Honey Bees 101 in Spring 2022. However, some of the information and activities will change to relate to honey bees activity due to the change of season and weather. Those who participated in the Spring program are welcome to join us again! Tuesdays, Sept 6-Oct 18, 4:00-6:00pm (no class Oct 4) Cost: $180 per person

NOTE: There is a possibility that a bus will bring children from Weston school campus to the farm with the parent pick up at the end of the program at the farm. Please let us know if you are interested in this bus option, if it is available.

The Taste of Fairfield is coming back on Sunday, October 2nd, from 12pm - 4pm at Delamar Southport, 275 Old Post Road, Southport, CT.
