Chef Jeffrey Taibe’s Taproot in Bethel launches SMOKER SUNDAYS. From 4-7pm every Sunday, Taproot will be cooking up BBQ with some tasty smoked meat and sides. Menu will be posted Sundays. Takeout of dine in. Yum.

Bear’s Smokehouse has new line of BBQ Sauces & Rubs!! They are all handmade by these BBQ masters, gluten free, and can be found at stores across CT. IT’S TIME FOR A CHEF SHOW DOWN! On Monday, November 9th from 6:00-8:00 PM, Chefs Xavier Santigo, Carlos Perez, and Beca Tuinei will compete for bragging rights at Better Half Brewery. The goal, who can create the best food and beer pairings! Chefs Billy Grant of Restaurant Bricco and Bricco Trattoria, April Melissa of the North House, and owner of Better Half Brewery Rachel Haseltine will serve as judges.A portion of the ticket sales will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Connecticut.
