Mohegan Sun’s Sun WhiskeyFest takes place on Friday April 21 at 8pm.  General admission tickets are $85 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster. 

April is National Grilled Cheese Month and Fairfield Greenwich Cheese Company will hold a “Grilled Cheese: Beyond Kraft Singles” class this week.  It will take place at the Fairfield location on Tuesday April 18 and the Greenwich location on Thursday April 20. 

On April 18th, B.Good in Fairfield, will be donating 5% of ALL sales to Food Rescue US. Help end hunger in America and grab some healthy eats at the same time!

Millwrights hosts a Stone Brewing and Maine Beer Company collaboration dinner on Tuesday April 18 at 7pm.  The evening will feature Main Lunch, Main Peeper, Stone Tangerine Express, and Stone Xocoveza Charred with paired dishes.  It costs $65 per person. 

Nit Noi Provisions (providers of Thai broths, condiments, and meals from scratch using fresh, local, sustainably sourced ingredients) is doing a pop up store at Fleisher's Westport Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays thru mid May. 

Tuesday Night Trivia returns to The Blind Rhino with Ken Tuccio of First Thing Fairfield County on 95.9 Fox.  Join them every Tuesday at 8pm.

A Novel Affair takes place at the Ferguson Library in Stamford on April 19 from 5:30-8:30pm.  Enjoy food from local restaurant like Kona Grill, Lorca, Zaza, and more to benefit the library. 

The Fez in Stamford will welcome another local artist to their Artist in Residence program.  On April 17 from 5:30-7pm, join them for a welcoming reception where Heidi Lewis Coleman will present "Color and Confections."  There will be free wine and snacks as well.

AMG Catering presents an Easy Chinese Appetizers Class on Wednesday April 19 from 7-9pm.  Learn how to make deconstructed crab rangoon, assorted “satays” with dipping sauces, shrimp and pork dumplings, and Chinese chicken salad.  It costs $88 per person. 

Stew Leonard’s continues Cooking Classes for Toddlers.  The Newington location will offer Earth Day themes classes from April 18-22.  Kids ages 2-5 can create ants on a log, flower pot cupcakes and a rainbow fruit kabob served with a creamy fruit dip. 

Jones Family Farms continues their Sip & Savor Spring & Summer series with a “Don Quixote” class on April 20.  It will feature Manchego, Quince, and Chorizo skewers, Spanish-style Roasted Spring Lamb with potatoes and spring vegetables, and Cinnamon and Vanilla Scented Cake. 

Pacifico New Haven and Paradise Hills are teaming up for a Spring Tapas-Wine Dinner on April 20.  Marcelo Mena from Paradise Hills vineyard will guide you through a line-up of wines paired with five tasty tapas.  It starts at 7pm and costs $55 per person. 

Walrus + Carpenter will host “Wes Anderson’s 4:20 Night.”  It will feature beers from Stoked Brewing and Lagunitas. 

Chef John Brescio, owner and executive chef at Liv’s Oyster Bar, will participate in a Farm to Table dinner at Field House Farm in Madison, CT on Friday April 21.  Enjoy a four course tasting menu with complementary wines for $120 per person.  The event starts at 6pm. 

New Morning Market in Woodbury, CT is home to the largest organic 100% Non-GMO Produce Department, as well as a Humanely Raised Only Full Service Meat Department.  Join them on Saturday April 22 for an Earth Day celebration where you can sample artisanal foods, meet their  Holistic Practitioners, enter a raffle to benefit CT NOFA, and more. 

The 3rd annual Meriden Pre Daffodil Weekend Food Truck Fair will take place at Hubbard Park on April 22 and April 23.  There will be over 25+ food trucks, carnival rides, live music, a giant tag sale, and more.  Parking and admission are free. 

On Sunday April 23, Ordinary in New Haven will have a Colombian Street Food Pop-Up courtesy of Chef Avi Szapiro from Roia.  Ordinary will provide Colombian inspired cocktails and DJ Shaki will play global music.

Cask Republic New Haven is now serves brunch.  Visit them on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to 3:00pm for savory and sweet brunch dishes and special brunch cocktails.

Taco Loco is celebrating its 35th Anniversary!  In honor of the occasion, they are giving away over 3,500 tacos!  Enter on their facebook page and stop by the restaurant April 20-22 for additional festivities.

Bloodroot invites you to cooking classes on Sundays at 4pm.  Sunday April 23 they welcome Rachel Portnoy, pastry chef and co-owner of Chez Nous in Lee MA, for a class on vegan desserts.  It costs $30 per person.

Stratford’s 3rd Annual Restaurant Week begins on Sunday April 23.  Over 20 restaurants, including Outriggers, Paradise Pizza, Knapp’s Landing, Vazzy’s, and Salerno’s will offer specially priced menus. 

Just in time for spring, Shell & Bones Oyster Bar has announced a new Happy Hour.  It runs Monday-Friday from 4-6pm, and includes select $6 wines by the glass, $6 house cocktails, $3 cans of Black Hog Brewing, $1 daily featured oysters and littleneck clams, $1 grilled skewers, and a champagne and oyster package for $50.
