Hey Stamford Food Festival August 26th: Live Music, Restaurants & Food Trucks

One of our favorite local bloggers is throwing a party! On August 26th, Hey Stamford is bringing local restaurants together at Mill River Park for Hey Stamford Food Festival, an innovative culinary festival. 

PJ Kennedy of Hey Stamford, has spent his time highlighting the events, food and community in his local go to blog. Becoming an expert in what’s happening in Stamford over the years, PJ Kennedy has teamed up with Ilario Altamura and Ross Atamian of Parachute Concerts to create the first ever Hey Stamford Food Festival. In an effort to unite great restaurants and tasty brews, the food festival will take place at Mill River Park, Saturday August 26th 1-9pm, with a $10 admission. 

Restaurants include: Seaside Sliders, Rice & Beans, Magee's Curbside, M.O.C. Eatery, The GRANOLA bar, Nosh Hound Food Truck, Hapa Food Truck, Bang Burger, DrewbaQ, DoughGirls Pizza, Kona Ice of Stamford, Boothbay Lobster, Gotta Go Greek, Bareburger, Brother Jimmy's BBQ, Remo's, The Spread & El Segundo, Hoodoo Brown BBQ, Cask Republic, Knot Norm's Catering, Acuario, Sign of the Whale, Nikki Glekas Events

 What to expect, the area's most delectable food trucks, restaurants, talented chefs and breweries that embody the scene in and around Stamford, CT. This one-day, family oriented event will highlight over thirty local Restaurants & Food Trucks in attendance, dishing out fresh, mouthwatering local bites. Highlighting the finest in regional and national breweries, tapping into the best local beer the area has to offer.

Music includes nostalgic hits from the 80’s and 90’s on the main stage, with performances by “The Fresh Kids of Bel Air” and “Jessie’s Girl both performers have successfully sold out shows through out the tri-state area including Port Chester NY’s Legendary Capitol Theater, bringing their audiences back in time to a classic, unforgettable musical era. Music will start at 1– 9pm with a line up of Connecticut’s best musicians and DJ’s.

The home for this inaugural event is the beautiful Mill River Park, a 12-acre, urban park located in Stamford Downtown providing a scenic background for Hey Stamford Food Festival.

In supporting non-profit organizations in the community that help nurture, educate and enrich local kids by exposing them to the arts, can raise funds by partnering with the promoters of the Hey Stamford Food Festival!

Participating organizations will be allotted patron entrance tickets to be sold to supporters of their respective organizations. The charities will be granted 100% of the ticket sales that have been given to each organization. The recipients of the tickets will be treated to the best food and music the area has to offer.
