Celebrate Pride Month in CT: Events, Bars, Restaurants & Specials (2025 Edition)

It’s almost June, the month in which we celebrate Pride. From coast to coast, we recognise and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and their historic struggle to be seen, heard, valued, and appreciated. While many battles have been won, there is still so much work to be done to make sure everyone is accepted in our communities, in our hearts, and in our country. Everyone in CT can be an ally and every bar, restaurant, or other business listed below IS an LGBTQ+ supporter and is helping provide safe spaces to their local communities, including the youth. So let us continue to fight the good fight! Fly those flags high and enjoy Pride Month!

Bars, Restaurants, and Shops

168 York Street Cafe - New Haven

168 is one of the oldest gay bars in CT and the only gay-owned and operated bar/restaurant in New Haven. They’ll have Pride events throughout the month of June, starting with “DYE YOUR PRIDE” on June 1st, 4-7pm. Check their calendar for more events and details!

BE Chocolat - Fairfield

BE Chocolat is bringing back their BE You colorful heart collection and golf balls for Pride Month with multiple flavors including double dark, Biscoff, double milk, caramel and cookies & cream. They are the deliciously perfect treat for all Pride festivities!

The Cake Box - Ridgefield, Westport

On Sunday, June 1st, the Ridgefield location will be offering special cupcakes to kickoff Pride Month. In addition, each Wednesday in June The Cake Box will be showcasing their spirit by offering rainbow-funfetti cupcakes with rainbow sprinkles. Pride-fully delicious!

Chez Est - Hartford

Chez Est is the self-proclaimed “Epicenter of Connecticut Drag,” which makes it the best place to be during Pride Month. Chez will be marching in the Middletown Pride Parade on June 7th and will be hosting many Pride-themed nights all month long, so there’s plenty of time to celebrate with them, whether it’s in the streets or at their Hartford location!

Coals - Norwalk

Deborah Ann’s will be offering their annual Pride Month-themed ice cream – a true fan favorite! All month long, enjoy their homemade ice cream topped with gummy skittles and rainbow chocolate bits. Delish.

Honeycone Craft Ice Cream - Chester

Honeycone Craft Ice Cream will be making a “Pride” flavor throughout the month of June, consisting of cake batter ice cream with funfetti cake and rainbow sprinkles. $1 from each scoop served is donated to Anchor Health. Ice cream and a good cause? Get on it!

The Rainbow Road 2.0 is a tropical, vodka-based frozen slushy featuring pineapple, mango, and coconut flavors. $2 of every cocktail sold at any of their CT locations will go directly to the Triangle Community Center in Norwalk.

Partners Cafe - New Haven

They’ll be kicking it off with their Sea Queen’s “Pride Prom: Second Dance Chance” on June 8th with Dro as the host, Queens Milynn Monroe and Xiomarie La’Beija, and DJ Edgewood.
