Chef Jared Falco Hosts Pop-Up Dinner at BJ Ryan's to Honor Chef Michael Maroni

This is a dinner you won’t want to miss. On October 22nd, Chef Jared Falco, of Bar Rosina’s is teaming up with BJ Ryan’s for an iconic Italian family-style dining experience, to honor the legendary Chef Michael Maroni, of Maroni’s Cuisine. Yes, there will be black burgundy and white truffles from NUNZIA involved, as well as caviar from Pierless Seafood.

Chef Mike Maroni shaped Chef Jared Falco’s career in hospitality, and was a large part of BJ Ryan’s history. Falco, worked in the Maroni kitchen on and off for many years, honing his skills, and gaining inspiration for Bar Rosina’s. BJ Lawless spent many a night enjoying Maroni’s hospitality until Moroni passed away in 2019. To honor the great chef, who became famous for his revolving 20-course tasting menu, and the man who beat celebrity Chef Bobby Flay with the meatballs he became famous for, BJ Ryan’s will be hosting a dinner to say thanks. 

Maroni Cuisine opened in 2001 on the water in Northport Village, serving meatballs in a signature cherry red enamel crock to eat at the restaurant or take home. The century-old family recipe quickly garnered a following…and the legend began.
