New Haven’s longest-running foodie event, New Haven Restaurant Week, returns November 5-10 marking the 15th anniversary.

The fall edition of New Haven Restaurant Week features 25 of the City’s most popular restaurants- 14 will offer $25 lunch specials, with all participating locations offering pre fixe dinner experiences for $45 or $55 per person.

Off the plate, New Haven Restaurant Week gives back. Since 2009, more than $55,000 has been raised for the Connecticut Foodshare, an organization that works year-round to combat hunger and food insecurity across the state. This year participating restaurants have donated $5,000.

“In Connecticut, nearly 1 in 10 of our neighbors are experiencing food insecurity, and the need continues to rise. Community partnerships are critical in supporting our mission. We are thankful for the continued support from Market New Haven, Inc., citizens and all the participating restaurants for this extremely generous donation. Thousands of Connecticut households will now have the food they need and hope for the future,” said Jason Jakubowski, President and CEO of Connecticut Foodshare.

For foodies traveling by car, The Shops at Yale will offer free 2-hour parking with same-day purchases of $50 or more from participating restaurants at lots located at 255 Crown Street and 56 Broadway. Additionally, Park New Haven will offer a $5 parking rate during lunch in the Crown Street and Temple Street Garages. The offer is applicable November 5-10 between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

After indulging in the city’s cutting-edge cuisine, diners are invited to join a wide array of activities across downtown New Haven from museums and galleries to unique shops and boutiques. Live entertainment will grace the stage of The Shubert Theatre, with comedian Pete Davidson performing a set on November 5 and performances of Broadway’s Come From Away taking place on November 8-10.

In response to the event’s continued appeal and the record-breaking demand of this year’s Spring Restaurant Week, patrons are strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance and check restaurants’ websites for exact pricing and menus.
