Restaurant Road Trip is a series that shines a light on the best and most fun eateries, food, people, and stories - and did we mention the food? - in the state of Connecticut! This Spring’s series focuses on Fairfield County’s most delicious offerings. Step 1: Watch the fun and take notes on where you want to goStep 2: Call everyone you know and let them know about all of the amazing restaurants you want to visitStep 3: Go out on your own road trip and explore some of our state’s best eats! Don’t forget to TAG us at CTPublic. Your tour guide, Chef Plum, who you might recognize from Connecticut Public Radio’s weekly food show Seasoned, translates the restaurant vernacular to the viewer like no other person can. Striving to bridge the gap between Chef and food lovers, each episode of Restaurant Road Trip is fun, educational, inspiring and delicious, with a few laughs along the way. The series will premiere on Connecticut Public’s platforms as a series of digital shorts for each restaurant featured, dropping here each Thursday starting April 28, 2022.AND…There will be three 30-minute TV episodes premiering on CPTV on Thursdays at 8 PM on May 5, June 2, and July 7, 2022.
