Fritz Knipschildt Launches Fritzzz Artisan CBD Chocolate

For over 13 years, Danish born Fritz Knipschildt, and the House of Knipschildt, have been renowned for creating exquisite quality artisan chocolate. CT residents will recall his South Norwalk eatery, Chocopologie, where Knipschildt explored ways to creatively infuse elements from the savory kitchen into the world of chocolate and confection. Years later, Knipschildt is using his expertise in European chocolate, and has recently launched a new line of chocolate truffles and chocolate bars that are infused with premium, full spectrum CBD. Just to be clear, I’m no newbie to CBD infused chocolate. As a jew with anxiety, my family of high strung teenagers and I have sampled CBD products from all over the country. In fact, Fritz’s own passion for integrating CBD or cannabidiol, into a premium confection stems from the medical benefits he experienced personally related to stress management and insomnia. However, while CBD may be ubiquitous, found everywhere and in everything these days, products are FAR from equal.

The CBD is sourced from an organic farm in Kentucky, and as mentioned above is full spectrum. What does this mean to you? “Full spectrum means that an oil or product contains all the cannabinoids that are naturally occurring in the cannabis plant. Quality full spectrum CBD products are typically high in CBD, with only trace amounts of minor cannabinoids, and very low in THC (less than 0.3%). Full spectrum means these products have increased effectiveness due to the different cannabinoids working synergistically. Full spectrum products are commonly considered more effective than products that are CBD isolate derived. The real beauty of the Fritzzz CBD infused chocolate line stems from the clean chocolate flavor. Fritz uses CBD oil that is flavorless, allowing his artisan chocolate to resonate brightly, with zero hemp undertones. This is a huge plus as I like my chocolate…well…to taste like chocolate.
