It’s all about Tiki Tuesdays in Stamford!  You and 5 other people can board the Tiki Taxi at The Crab Shell restaurant for a 30 minute spin around the harbor while listening to our tropical soundtrack and enjoying whatever you bring to drink.  Price includes a complimentary Hawaiian Lei as well as our cooler loaded with ice and cups for your favorite beverage (BYOB).

Bar Rosso in Stamford is now open on Mondays!  Join them for happy hour from 3-6pm and wine bottle specials after 6pm.

 On Saturday, June 27, catering and event design company, Festivities joins forces with The Knowlton, Fairfield County’s newest special event venue. A pop-up dinner will be created and served along the banks of The Peqonnock River. Festivities has created a three course menu of Lebanese legacy foods evoking bold, extravagant flavors of the Mediterranean. Guests will dine from a “kitchen stadium”, chef-interactive style in an atmosphere filled with spirited music from St. Tropez to Mykonos presented by Nicholson Events. A cash bar is featured. On Monday June 22, join Wakeman Town Farm- virtually- for a Zoom talk all about Peonies.  They will teach you about the different varieties of peonies and the pros and cons of each. Topics will include identification, siting, planting, feeding, pruning, cost, vase life and diseases.  Learn a few simple tips to getting your herbaceous peony to bloom in its first year. Come with questions. Suggested donation $10.​ You will receive a ZOOM link the day of the event.

For four weeks this season, Oyster Club presents “Summer Nights,” an outdoor pop-up restaurant at Stone Acres Farm. Dine outdoors under the stars amongst summer blooms in the historic formal gardens. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night from June 18 through July 11, Oyster Club Executive Chef James Wayman and team will present a four course menu with a welcome cocktail, centered around a different theme. On June 25, 26, 27 the theme is Summer Vegetable Harvest.  Visit www.oysterclubct.com/summer-nights to reserve. $65 per person plus tax and gratuity, includes a four course dinner with welcome cocktail. Option to add locally sourced raw bar, beer and wine.  Be prepared to dine outdoors in the garden under the stars. To best enjoy your outdoor dining experience, we encourage farm-friendly footwear, and dressing in layers as the temperature may change due to weather and sunset. In the event of inclement weather, diners will move into the Stone Acres Manor House.

Bartaco is bringing back an old-school fan-favorite for this month’s #bartacosecret menu item – the Lobster Taco!  However, this time around, Bartaco’s switching things up and teaching guests how to be a Bartaco chef at home with a #bartacosecret Lobster Taco Kit.  The single lobster taco is only available for picnic-style dine-in for $6.50and a lobster taco kit for 4 ($24) is available via takeout, curbside pickup and delivery at order.bartaco.com or the bartaco app.  This special is available through Labor Day.

Bored in the house? Register for a COCKTAIL KIT & VIRTUAL MIXOLOGY CLASS with Stacey Orecchio, Founder of Lifted Spirits, Fairfield County's first ever mobile bar. Fairfield Farmers Market and the Town of Fairfield are happy to announce the return of the popular summer farmers market on June 28th.   The market will be held every Sunday 10AM-2PM, rain or shine, on the Sherman Green.  The market is committed to offering access to fresh, local food in an environment that is healthy and safe for all participants. Syman Says Farms invites you to snuggle with goats this summer… seriously!  Join them for a full 60-minutes of therapeutic and relaxing Goat Snuggles. Sit back, take a deep breath in and let go of the week's stress. Laugh as the babies jump all around you (and sometimes on you!) One may just curl p in your lap for their morning/afternoon nap. Watch the momma goats nurse and care for the little ones. Owners, Liz & Aaron will also be available to answer questions regarding life on the farm, goat care, health, differences in breeds and more!  Saturday Sessions June 20th - August 1st at10am, 12pm & 2pm.

Elm in New Canaan has exciting news for early risers!  They now have Elm AM which offers grab and go breakfast options on the weekend from 9-11am.

After a temporary absence due to COVID-19 The Baldanza’s are thrilled to announce their return to New Canaan. Having looked at several downtown locations the Baldanza’s have committed to re-opening Baldanza Café on New Canaan’s ‘restaurant row’ - 21 Forest Street. With a launch date penned in for August/September 2020, the Baldanza’s are hard at work transforming the former Embody site by placing their rustic farm to fork stamp on the interior. The interior will be intimate and cozy seating 40 guests, with 6 free parking spaces out back. There are 12 al fresco seats out front.
