Birdman Juke Joint has kicked off their “Biscuit Brunch”. Yes, it's those nationally acclaimed Brown Sugar Buttermilk Biscuits that took the nation by storm when Chef Chris Scott made them on Top Chef. Brunch hours are Saturday and Sunday only from 10:30am to 2pm.

Artisanal Burger Company in Manchester, CT invites you to a Pig Roast on the Patio.  Join them on Monday August 19 for a pig roast with plenty of BBQ sauces, picnic-style sides, drinks, and delicious summer desserts. 

On August 19, West Hartford foodies will be lined up to celebrate the grand opening of Pokéworks, a healthy, fast-casual poke restaurant that brings a fresh take on Hawaiian-inspired poke bowls and burritos with a convenient and customizable menu.  The new spot is going into Corbin Collection (across from Westfarms mall) located at 1445 New Britain Avenue.

Tuesday August 20 at 8pm, Sherkann Indian Street Food is partnering with New Haven Cocktail Week and Brockmans Gin.  Explore the history of gin itself, the distilling practices at Brockmans, and sip on “perfect serve” cocktails. Event attendees will leave with their own signature Brockmans Gin Copa glass. Tickets are only $10, available through New Haven Cocktail Week. 

There is no shortage of delicious food in West Hartford!  From August 20 - September 2, enjoy West Hartford Restaurant Week at participating eateries and support an important cause. A percentage of sales from West Hartford Restaurant Week will be donated to Foodshare, the regional food bank serving Hartford and Tolland counties.   Participating restaurants will offer lunch and dinner prix-fixe menus at special prices. 

Happy Birthday, Julia Child!  On Wednesday August 21, celebrate her birthday at Millwrights with a 5 plus prix fixe meal.  It costs $95 per person (plus tax and tip) and also includes wine pairings. 

On Wednesday August 21, Chef Jamie Bissonnette (Toro, Little Donkey) and Tony Camilleri (Zohara) join the Sub Edge Farmers for a farm-yard burger-flippin' evening. Farm-grown, farm-made burgers, grilled veggies, and cold drinks are all on the menu.  Explore the farm and feast on a delicious summer meal. 

It’s a Pop-up Pig Roast at Rosedale Farm!  On Wednesday August 21, join them for a Pig Roast, Craft Cocktails, Local Beer, and Live Music.  Seating is limited, so get your tickets online. 

Thursday Night Bites, a series presented by Oyster Club and Stone Acres Farm, continues on Thursday August 22 with “Cured.”  This week, enjoy a menu of cured delights from Chef James Higgins, the butcher at Grass & Bone. 

If you missed Guilford Mooring’s Lobster Bake in July, they’re doing it again on Thursday August 22!  The meal includes a 1 ¼ pound Lobster , Shrimp, Mussels, Steamers, Sweet Sausage, Corn on the Cob, Red Bliss Potatoes, and NY Cheesecake.  There also options for kids and those who prefer turf to surf. 

Climbing meets craft brews at “Knots and Hops” at Hanging Hills Brewery in Hartford on Thursday August 22.  Join them for an evening of rope skills focusing on advanced knots and hitches, all over beer! 

The Hey Stamford! Food Festival is finally here!  On August 24 and 25, food trucks, live entertainment, local vendors, and more will converge on Mill River Park.  Donut Crazy, Dinosaur BBQ, Cousins Maine Lobster, and Kona Ice are just a few of the eats that will be there for the weekend!  Choose from regular admission or a VIP experience. 

New Haven’s Annual Craft Beer Fest takes place on Saturday August 24 at Temple Plaza.  The festival unfolds in 3 sessions and features a curated selection of local craft beer and ciders.  Food, music, and games available while you enjoy unlimited samples of over 50 beers from 30 breweries. 

Black Rock PorchFest returns on Saturday August 24.  The fun, free, and family-friendly community event celebrates the wonderful neighborhood and is run by volunteers.

On Saturday August 24, The 19th Annual Tomato Festival comes to Granby .  Head down to Red Fire Farm for edibles walks, cooking demonstrations, and the gorgeous bounty of the farm. 

Nothing says summer like a classic New England lobster bake!  On Sunday, August 25 the Republic team is hosting a Lobster Bake on the beautiful setting of Auerfarm. Enjoy a family style dinner by Republic Chefs along with yard games, hayrides, live music, and activities for all ages.  Tickets are $65 for adults and $19 for kids 12 and under, which include tax and gratuity. 

On Sunday August 25, the Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust hosts a Farm to Table Dinner and Auction.  The evening begins with a cocktail hour and continues with a multi-course meal by local chefs featuring fresh ingredients.  There will be live music and a silent auction as well.  Purchase tickets at
