Oyster Club in Mystic now has a cocktail lounge pop up every first and third Monday night of the month. On Monday July 1, guest bartender is Joshua Perez of Milk & Honey and brand ambassador for REAL MCCOY RUM is premiering Real McCoy 14-Year-Aged limited-edition rum, the first release in the state of Connecticut. 

On Tuesday July 2, Stew Leonard’s in Danbury invites tots to a Firecracker Cupcake/Rice Krispies Toddler Class. Each child will decorate four cupcakes and two Rice Krispies Treats in red, white and blue. The class is for ages 2-5 and takes place at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 

On Tuesdays at The Spread Norwalk, enjoy $1 oysters all night! Plus, join them for Happy Hour from 4:30 – 7 p.m.

Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill, located on the waterfront in New Haven, is hosting an Independence Day Eve Celebration on Wednesday, July 3, featuring live music and highlights of the West Haven Fireworks viewed from the Deck. The Spa at Norwich Inn kicks off another season of Wednesday Lobster Night on July 3. For $59.99 (plus tax and gratuity), get a full meal for 2, which includes a bottle of wine.  The meal comes with TWO 1.25 lb. lobsters (grilled, steamed or baked and stuffed with drawn butter), tarragon whipped potatoes, and roasted butternut squash. 

On July 3, party at BAR ZORRO located on the rooftop at Evarito's. Celebrate the Norwalk Fireworks Show with stunning views of Norwalk Harbor and Long Island Sound. General Admission is $40 per person and includes a salsa & guacamole bar along with three drink tickets. DJ Mercado is spinning all night long. 

The Hops Company’s Summer Raw Bar is returning!  Every Friday this summer from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., enjoy freshly shucked clams and oysters, jumbo shrimp, and mini lobster rolls from Clambakes of CT! Weekly platter specials vary.

The 4th Annual Nice Festival takes place on Saturday July 6 at Oyster Shell Park in Norwalk. The day-long event is multi-cultural summer music, food, and dance festival with multiple cultural performances, crafts, and interactive family activities. Admission is free and charitable donations are appreciated 

On Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7, enjoy a Pop-Up Market at the Vineyard. Sunset Meadow Vineyards will host many vendors featuring wine themed merchandise, jewelry, pet products, wooden signs, clothing and more! Relax with a glass of wine or one of their famous wine slushies while listening to live music. 

House of Naan in New Haven is sponsoring a month of charitable giving throughout July 2019. Every Sunday in July begins a new week where 25% of all proceeds for that week will go towards a designated charitable organization. On Sunday July 7, join them to support the Neighborhood Music School Scholarship Fund.  

Brizo, located in Rocky Hill, will be offering a prix fix dinner menu (dine-in only) for $24.95. They will be offering the prix fix dinner menu Tuesday through Saturday 4pm-6pm and Sunday 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Please note that they are closed on July 4.

Sunday night is Trivia Night at Republic Gastropub in Bloomfield. Participants can win cash prizes and Republic gift cards. It is $2 to enter. Plus, wine bottles under $100 are 50% off.

Così, Inc., the fast-casual restaurant company, has expanded. In addition to having locations in West Harford, Stamford and Avon, Cosi is now open in Hartford.
