Get ready to get crazy and “do-nut” miss this event!  Friday October 18 is Donut Crazy Flight Night at Two Roads Brewing Company.  They’ll even be featuring a Roadsmary’s Baby Donut inspired by the Autumnal Brew.  Check it out in the tasting room from 4-9pm.   

On Saturday October 19, Barcelona Norwalk will hold a pig roast on the patio.  From 3-6pm, kick off fall with a roast suckling pig and seasonal tapas prepared by Chef Kaline Capps. Wine pairings will accompany the evening’s offerings. 

Hamilton Park, located in The Blake Hotel in Downtown New Haven, now offers 50% off all bottles of wine during Monday evening dinner service.  The restaurant offers dinner service from 5-9pm.

Le Fat Poodle is pleased to present Oktoberfest specials.  The Oktoberfest menu includes specials like German beer cheese dip, pretzels, bratwurst, and more.  Order a la carte or opt for three courses and get a beer and stein.

Save the date- October 16- for The Spread’s Harvest Party.  Meet and Eat for a great cause with Daphne Oz of The Chew and their very own Chef Carlos Baez.  Proceeds go to Friends of Autistic People.

Taste of Wishes comes to Norwalk to celebrate “dishes and wishes” on Thursday October 17 from 6 to 9 pm.  Aitoro Appliance at 401 Westport Avenue in Norwalk will serve as the backdrop for an evening of fabulous food and drink.  While learning about the many wishes that Make-A-Wish Connecticut has granted, attendees can enjoy dishes from prominent local chefs like Matt Storch, Dan Kardos, Bill Taibe, Robin Selden, and Christian Petroni

Legendary Chef Jacques Pépin will be honored with a bronze statue at the Harvest Tribute event at Stone Acres Farm. Following the family friendly Harvest Festival, there will be a reception with Chef Jacques Pépin, as well as a book signing, and intimate five-course dinner in the Manor House at Stone Acres. Chef James Wayman of the Oyster Club restaurant in Mystic will prepare a seasonally-inspired tasting menu celebrating Connecticut's finest farmers and purveyors paired with exclusive wines. $250/person (includes admission to Harvest Festival and Statue Reveal) www.jpfbenefit.org

Visit Mystic Cheese Company on Thursday October 17 at 6pm for an evening all about The Alps and their Swiss and Italian Roots.  The cheese and wine pairing costs $45 per person.  Also take note that Mystic Cheese Company has new fall hours.  They are currently open on Sundays from 12-4pm.

Twisted Vine Restaurant in Derby invites you to a spook-tacular dinner!  On Thursday October 17, they’re hosting a paranormal dinner followed by a ghost tour!  Doors open at 6pm and the event lasts for 3 hours.   

Ambler Farm hosts Fright Night on Friday October 18 and Saturday October 19.  Drop off the kids (grades 3-5 only) for ghost stories, a Moonlight Hay Ride, a guessing jar to win the Farm's largest pumpkin, games, and more.

The Glastonbury Apple Harvest & Music Festival features three stages of live music, a full midway of amusement rides, 100+ craft vendors, 25+ food trucks/purveyors, a fully stocked Harvest Pub, and the Angry Orchard 5K Road Race on the festival’s closing day.  This year, it takes place from October 18-20.   

Pastrami on Rye is getting into the autumnal spirit with a brand new fall special menu.  Dishes include Pumpkin Sticky Bun Pancakes, Churro French Toast, and Biscuits and Gravy.  Sip on Pumpkin Spice Iced Tea and Sparkling Apple Cider.

Westoberfest- Downtown Westport’s ode to Oktoberfest- returns on Saturday October 19.  Kawa Ni and Rothbard Ale + Larder will be on hand with tasty bites while 25+ New England Breweries will serve up their beers.  There will also be live music, a Westport Farmers Market pop-up, a vintage car rally, and a fun family area.

Participate in two cooking demos, try food samples at D&D, have lunch at Peppercorn's Grill, and try tons of desserts at Mozzicato’s. 

The Pilot House Community Farm in Fairfield hosts their fifth annual Harbor Fair on October 19 and 20.  They’ll have food trucks, a beer garden, crafts, a petting zoo, pumpkin decorating, and more.
