The Westport Historical Society will be hosting a cocktail and garden party on July 1 from 5-7pm.  The theme is “Westport is Your Oyster” and there will be fresh oysters courtesy of Copps Island Oysters as well as Prosecco and bourbon.

From July 1 through September 2, as part of Pepsi Presents: Foxwoods’ Summer of Dreams, the casino will have a Lobster Madness celebration.  Restaurants will serve up entrees and special dishes inspired by the seasonal staple.

The New Britain Museum of American Art will host Art Happy Hours on Thursdays all summer long.  Starting July 5, Guests aged 21+ can enjoy a selection of beer, wine, and spritzers on the Pritchard Family Terrace.  Entry to the Terrace is free and Museum admission is 50% off with purchase of a drink.  Join them at 5:30pm.

Millwrights in Simsbury presents Donut Fridays in the tavern!  Every week, they’ll debut a new flavor of this sweet treat.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House, located in the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, has just revamped their bar menu for the summer.  Their new “bar bites” include options like Steak Tartare with gaufrette potatoes, crème fraîche, and Worcestershire reduction; Mini Pork Belly Tacos with a grilled pineapple salsa; and Fried Deviled Eggs served with bacon and jalapeno.

The NICE Festival held on July 7 from 11am-8pm. at Oyster Shell Park in Norwalk celebrates the rich global heritage and culture including food, music, art, dance and talent that makes Norwalk one of CT's most vibrant cities.  There will be dancers, musicians, food and craft vendors from multiple traditions and customs.
