Donut Crazy Opens in West Hartford Today!

CTbites Team

Donut Crazy is happy to announce the opening of its newest location in West Hartford today. The store, located at 993 Farmington Avenue, offers all of Donut Crazy’s food and beverage items.

For those uninitiated into Donut Crazy’s world of over-the-top sugary doughnut confections, this location feels like a giant step forward both in selection and ambiance. All of their baked goods are made in-house in a Donut Crazy Kitchen by an overnight team of bakers. In West Hartford, Donut Crazy will offer its typical selection of “Dailies” and “Crazies.”

Nestled among the restaurants and shops of West Hartford Center, Donut Crazy’s newest store measures in at nearly 900-square-feet, allowing space for eat-in customers or those looking for a comfortable coffee shop atmosphere. Though, to be clear, the Donut Crazy experience is anything but traditional.

Donut Crazy West Hartford represents the brand’s newly revamped identity—including logo, in-store signage, packaging, and website—with everything centered around the company’s neon donut icon and its friendly, simple message: “Let’s eat donuts!”

It also showcases artwork unique to West Hartford, such as a funky portrait of Mark Twain among floating donuts, and a pop-art ode to Fluff and Nutella. Custom, location-based merchandise (including t-shirts, stickers, and more) will be available for purchase at multiple stores soon

Like all Donut Crazy locales, the store hosts a comprehensive menu of 45 varieties of donuts baked fresh daily, avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, and fresh-squeezed OJ, as well as Rise Brewing Co.’s nitro coffee and chocolate milk on draft. Donut Crazy also offers its inventive Cruffins (a sinfully delicious marriage between a croissant and muffin) on weekends and newly launched, ooey-gooey, goliath-sized cookies in a rotating variety of flavors.

“We know how much our followers around the West Hartford area have anticipated this opening, and we are so appreciative of both their patience and hungry passion for donuts,” said Jason Wojnarowski, the creator and owner of Donut Crazy. “This is just the beginning of our plan to spread the Crazy love.”
