The Great Mac & Chili Challenge takes place on Sunday November 4 at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport from 11am to 3pm. Enjoy unlimited sampling of chili and mac 'n cheese dishes from twenty fantastic local restaurants. Just like Chowdafest, your vote determines who has the best! 

Olmo and Ordinary in New Haven will be collaborating on Halloween with a fun filled night of Mario Kart 64, meatball subs, spicy sausage subs, snacks, and themed cocktails.

On Thursday November 1, attend a Cheese and Wine Tasting Luncheon with Darien Cheese & Fine Food.  Ken Skovron will lead you through a selection of eight cheeses while Megan Ruppenstein of Four Forks prepares a delicious seasonal salad. There will be wine and sparkling cider as well. 

Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill will be hosting a Halloween Costume Party on Monday, October 29 at 9pm. The evening will feature live music, cocktail specials and a costume contest. Additionally, all guests who wear a costume to join in the fun will receive a “5 Clams Token” for their next visit to the restaurant. 

Tim’s Kitchen at Wakeman Town Farm invites kids to a Halloween-Themed Class on Monday October 29.  Little Trick-or-Treater’s will learn some tricks while making Pumpkin Fudge and Witch Hat Cookies.  Email wakemantownfarm@gmail.com to register and for additional information.

On October 31, Max Fish in Glastonbury presents Whiskey Around the World. Enjoy small production whiskeys, cigars, and a special menu by Chef Stinziani.

Bull & Swine's State Street Spook Fest will be filled with Halloween spirit. On Wednesday 10/31 starting at 8pm, join them for a costume dance party complete with a piñata, pin the tail on the skelton, an open bar, unlimited BBQ buffet, and more.

Community Table in Washington presents a Withers Wine Dinner on November 1.  Winemaker Andrew Tow will guide you through his wines while Chef Paul Pearsons serves up a Four Course Dinner.  Tickets are $185. 

Park & Oak Restaurant in West Hartford will hold an Interactive Craft Cocktail Class on November 1.  Restaurant manager Jeff Fiorino will teach the basic principles of bartending over small bites. 

Taco Loco will be hosting its first ever Día de Muertos event on November 1. Enjoy an evening of music and fun including a tequila tasting table, a DJ, face painting, and cocktail specials all night!
