On January 18, Terrain Garden Cafe in Westport will host a Winter Fireside Dinner featuring a selection of warming winter dishes inspired by cold season. Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner with an optional whiskey or wine pairing with a view of crackling fire pits on the cafe patio.  It is $75 per person with the optional beverage pairing for an additional $30 per person.  View menu and reserve here.

Sip for a cause on Saturday, January 20 from 12-5pm at the first ever West Hartford “Culinary Corner Pub Crawl” hosted by Eat IN Connecticut while helping to raise funds for charities dedicated to ending hunger in Connecticut.  The Crawl includes five of West Hartford’s Restaurants: Vinted, INDIA, The Cook and The Bear, FLORA, and Artisan Restaurant at the brand new DELAMAR Hotel.  Participants can go to any of the 5 participating Culinary Corner restaurants anytime for food specials in addition to the 1/2 off drink specials during the Pub Crawl.  Purchase your tickets here.

Wakeman Town Farm will have a pop-up Fondue Dinner on January 18 from 7-10pm.  Enjoy 3 courses with wine pairing, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support Wakeman's operations and educational programming.  Tickets are $85 per person. 

On Tuesday January 16, Caseus Fromagerie Bistro invites you to an Italian Cheese & Wine Pairing Class.  It runs from 6-7:30pm and costs $45 per person. 

Tuesday nights are magical at Bobby Q’s Cue & Company in Norwalk… literally!  From 6-8pm, a magician and balloon artist will be on hand to entertain and families with kids get 15% off their bill.

Note Kitchen & Bar in Bethel will host a Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers Beer Dinner on Tuesday January 16 at 7pm.  It will feature 6 courses paired with 6 beers.  Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased online.   

Park & Oak Restaurant in West Hartford presents a Pasta Making Class on Wednesday January 17 from 6-8pm.  Chef David will teach you how to make pasta from scratch while you munch on appetizers. 

PlantStrongCT will host an Easy Plant-Centered Cooking Class at the Whole Foods in Darien on January 18 from 7-8pm.  The class will show you how to make healthy dishes with veggies, fruits, whole grains, and legumes.  There will be plenty of samples, too!  The event is free, but you can register online. 

Mezon’s “Feliz for Less” happy hour runs Monday-Friday from 4-6pm.  Enjoy select $5 beer, $5 wine, $6 cocktails, and food specials.

Stone's Throw Restaurant in Seymour invites you to an Old World Wine Dinner on Friday January 19.  The evening features a Chef’s Selection of Hor’s D’ouvres, Traditional Spanish Octopus Salad, Albondigas, Risotto Style Fregula with Wild Mushrooms, Grilled Hangar Steak Ribollito, and Family Style Cheese and Meats… all paired with complementary wines!  It costs $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. 

Restaurant Week returns to Mohegan Sun on Sunday January 21 and lasts through January 25.  The dining event will have chef demos, specialty menu options, and dining deals throughout the casino. Participating restaurants include Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe, SolToro Tequila Grill, BALLO Italian Restaurant, The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House, Sushi Koya and plenty more! 

On Sunday January 21, Wave Hill Breads wants you to “Go Bananas with Monkey Bread!”  Children and the singature treat and enjoy a special three grain Baker's Pizza made with fresh local ingredients while it bakes.  The workshop costs $85 for 1 child with 1 adult and runs from 12:30-2:30pm. 

Jim Bloom of Knot Norm's Catering will be on hand at Half Full brewery on the 21st with a Copp's Island raw bar, wood fired oysters, oyster beer shooters, and blistered shishito peppers to join in the can release for Grace&Darkness oyster stout. Tickets are $35.
