Aux Delices Takes Over SoNo Baking Company Spot in Downtown Westport

In case you hadn't heard, SoNo Baking Company is giving up the keys to its downtown Westport location at 44 Church Lane, across from the new Bedford Square. Aux Delices will be taking over the space in the next few weeks. This will be Aux Delices' second location in Westport, and Aux Delices owner, Debra Ponzek, said "We had been eyeing this location for quite some time and were excited when the space became available."

Aux Delices,  means “all the delicious food in life,” and culinary institute-trained Debra Ponzek, describes her cooking as “quality, healthy food for busy people.”  If you have visited any of their other locations in Greenwich, Darien or Westport's Post Road, you will find quick and easy service, grab-n-go items, as well as a sit down cafe experience. For fans of Aux Delices, the menu at the new Westport location will be similar to you as well. 

They will be serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and let's not forget their incredible desserts. Their menu is diverse but substantive, with salads, panini, hearty entrées, veggie sides and dreamy baked goods. Other items not to be missed are chunky fruit scones, poached salmon, and the raw kale and Brussels sprout salad. As a parent who often runs on little sleep and even littler time, their kids’ specials – no-mercury tuna salad, meatloaf, ribs, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and vegetable purees make for great last minute dinners. There is definitely something for everyone, whether you’re rushing to pick up a quick lunch, planning a beach picnic or a large party, or lingering over a coffee and cake. 

A nice addition to the downtown Westport location is weekend Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. This will include breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, omelettes, oatmeal and an array of baked goods. 

In warm weather the patio will be available for outdoor dining. 

Lastly,  Aux Delices has just joined up with Uber Eats, so you can have their prepared foods delivered to your doorstep. 

Aux Delices will be open in late April.
