The Blind Rhino and Welcome To Connecticut Podcast are teaming up to bring you the very first Connecticut Blind Beer Awards, hosted by Ken Tuccio. This unique beer tasting event eliminates hype and bias and allows Connecticut beer drinkers to vote for what they like best based solely on the beer.

The first Connecticut Blind Beer Awards goes down Saturday, April 23rd at 1pm at The Blind Rhino in Norwalk! The style category for the first event is IPA. 

12 of Connecticut’s finest breweries have been invited to bring their best IPA to the Connecticut Blind Beer Awards. The beer from each brewery will be poured completely blind. Neither the names of the breweries, or information about the specific beer being poured, will be divulged. 

Those in attendance will be given the opportunity to vote for the beers they enjoyed most, without knowing who brewed what. 

After the tasting has concluded we will reveal all of the breweries involved in the tasting. Then, after all of the votes have been tallied, we will reveal the People’s Choice Winner of the very first Connecticut Blind Beer Awards! 

Tickets for this event are ONLY $25. That ticket includes entry to the event and unlimited samples of the beer being served. The tickets also include an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet, starting at 4pm!

Tickets will be available at the door, but we do expect this event to sell out, so we highly urge you to purchase your tickets in advance.
