Woodbridge Restaurant Week runs from Monday October 24 through Friday October 28.  Participating restaurants and menus. 

Room 112 is now open at 112 Washington Street in SoNo!  It is open 4 nights a week, Wednesday through Saturday.   

On Monday October 24, Craft260 in Fairfield will host a Kent Falls Beer Dinner.  Try 5 beers paired with 4 courses.  The menu includes dishes like Smoked & Roasted Marrow Bones w/ Stinky Smoked Bleu Cheese and Charred & Sticky Pineapple Thai Chili St. Louis Pork Ribs. 

Trick or Treat at Stew Leonard’s in Norwalk on Tuesday October 25.  From 5-6pm, children 12 and under are invited to come in costume for trick or treating.  Tickets are free, but need to be obtained in advance.  There is a limit of 5 tickets per family.  

Green Village Initiative, a nonprofit in Bridgeport that empowers the community to grow fresh food and eat healthy, is hosting its second annual Harvest Bites & Booze fundraiser on October 25th at Trattoria 'A Vucchella.  Dine on Italian dishes alongside harvest cocktails with herbs and fruit from Reservoir Community Farm, GVI's urban farm in Bridgeport.

Culinary Works is offering Fall Cooking Classes.  On Thursday October 27, try “Easy Basic Cooking With Delicious Fall Flavors” at the DEANE showroom at 189 Elm Street in New Canaan.  For a full list of classes, prices, reservations, and more details, see:

On Thursday October 27, it’s Tom Petty night at Walrus + Carpenter.  Enjoy plenty of music over great food starting at 7:30pm.

Support The Westport Farmers on October 28 from 6-9pm.  Featured chef Matt Stanczak from Stanziato's in Danbury will showcase local ingredients.  There will be live music as well. 

The Fairfield & Greenwich Cheese Company wraps up its month long celebration of American Cheese Month on Saturday October 29.  Chelsea Germer of Arethusa Farm Dairy will visit the Greenwich store from 1-4pm.

Now at City Limits Diner, guests enjoy $5.00 mimosas with their bacon and eggs or over-the-top waffle creations. In White Plains, diners can brighten their dreary weekends with a little sparkling on Saturday 8am-4pm and Sunday noon-4pm. At City Limits Stamford, brunch goers can sip mimosas on Saturday 10am-3pm and Sunday 11am-3pm.

Fleisher’s Craft Butchery in Greenwich has a spooky butchery class for you on Saturday October 30.  Learn to cook with some of the healthiest… but “spookiest…” cuts of meat on the animal.  It starts at 5:00pm and costs $100 per person.

Greenwich Restaurant Week takes place next month from November 11-20.  Tickets are on sale now for an opening night party at J House.  On November 10 from 6-9pm, see Kathy Lee Gifford showcase her wines, get a cookbook signed by Geoffrey Zakarian, and enjoy food and drink specials. 

Taco Loco food truck is donating 10% of all sales in the month of October to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The month long fundraiser includes sales from festivals, private & corporate parties, even deposits put down on future events. Help support the cause and enjoy gourmet tacos and margaritas from the Taco Loco Party Truck.

Napa & Company continues its Fall Wine Class Series on Monday October 24 with wines from Orin Swift Cellars.  The classes include 6 wines paired with 3 small plates.  It costs $75 per person.  Reservations are required.
