Barolo in New Canaan hosts a Kobrand Winemaker Dinner on Monday September 8.  The 4 course dinner will be paired with delicious Italian wines from the two winemakers.  $95pp, 7:00 pm.  For reservations, call (203) 920-4015.  Here's the menu

Cask Republic New Haven hosts Nebraska Brewing Rare Beer Night Tuesday September 9 from 6-9 pm. 

Harry’s Wine & Liquor Market partners with Luca Ristorante and Martin Scott Wines to host a Piedmont Wine Dinner with Owner/Winemaker Guiseppe Vajra.  It will take place on Tuesday, Sep 9 at 7PM. $98 with tax and tip included.  Call (203) 563-9550  for information and to reserve.

Darien Social’s Wine & Dine Wednesdays continue with ½ price wine and a special steak dinner.  Choose from a Porterhouse, NY Strip or Filet, which comes with a salad and two side dishes, for just $28 a person. 

Like beer? Check out the CT on Tap beer festival, Saturday, September 13th at Ives Concert Park from 3PM-6PM! Sample over 120 craft beers from the best American Craft Breweries. VIP tickets are $55 and GA tickets are $35 when bought in advance. Day of GA tickets are $45.

Also on Saturday September 13, participate in the third-annual Wakeman Town Farm Harvest Fest dinner.  This Farm-to-Table event begins with hors d 'oeuvres and cocktails, and follows up with a full dinner prepared chefs including those from Artisan, BONDA, Le Farm, The Spread, Oak + Almond, DaPietro's and AMG Catering. Prosecco, beer and wine will be served throughout the night and you can rock to live music by "Last Call."

The Philip Johnson Glass House in New Canaan is hosting Feast of Clarity: Food + Architecture on Sunday, September 14 from 3 to 5:30 pm. Architect Kulapat Yantrasast and chef Keizo Seki will collaborate with the National Trust Historic Site for an intimate kitchen table conversation on creativity and a tasting of specially prepared sushi. Tickets are $100 per person.

Holbrook Farm in Bethel is hosting a farm dinner on Sunday, September 14 with Chef Matt Stanczak of Stanziato's Pizza, Chef Morgan Vondle of Mezon Tapas Bar and Chef Tony Pham of Pho Vietnam and Mecha Noodle Bar. Tickets are $110 per person.  Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Circle Camps for Grieving Children.  

Storyteller, songwriter, guitarist and voice-stramentalist Lawrence “Lipbone” Redding comes to Mama’s Boy on Sunday September 14 for their Sunday brunch. 1-4pm. 

Barcelona South Norwalk has debuted a Sunday Supper series every Sunday, beginning at 4pm.  You can dine on a special three course menu for $26.99 per person.  Enjoy live music and half-price bottles of wine as well.

Looking ahead…

The next installation of Chef Brian Lewis’s farm-to-table dinner at Millstone Farm takes place on Thursday September 25.  Millstone’s beautiful landscape will set the stage for a 4-course feast of seasonally-driven cuisine. Each event will begin at 6 p.m. with small bites, lawn games, live music and farm tours for the entire family.
