Thursday July 10, Chef Brian Lewis brings the tables of elm to Millstone Farm.  Millstone’s beautiful landscape will set the stage for a 4-course feast of seasonally-driven cuisine on Thursday nights throughout the summer. Each event will begin at 6 p.m. with small bites, lawn games, live music and farm tours for the entire family.  Tickets are $35 per child and $135 per adult, BYOB, tax and gratuity included. The Westport Farmers’ Market takes place on Thursdays from 10-2.

Saturday July 12 and Sunday July 13, Stamford presents “Pork in the Park”- a festival of entertainment, music, great food and fun for the whole family.  The weekend will feature BBQ competitions with chefs and judges from area restaurants.  Sponsors include Blue Point and Goose Island.  The festival serves as a fundraiser for the Mayor's Youth Employment Program and the Mill River Collaborative.  $10 adults, $5 kids, and free for children under 5.  http://www.porkintheparkbbq.com/ 

The Fresh Market of Westport invites you to attend a free cooking demonstration on how to prepare  Thai Tuna Cakes  and Asian style slaw on Saturday July 12.  Their professional chef will demonstrate all the steps necessary to prepare the recipe from 3-6pm. Following the demonstration please stay and enjoy a tasty sampling. 

Beer aficionados take note: Saturday July 12 you can enjoy a bus tour along the CT Beer Trail!  Your journey will include a bunch of great locations including seasoned favorites like SBC and three newer breweries: DuVig Brewing, OEC brewing and Overshores Brewing!  Tickets cost $90 each and must be purchased beforehand. Brew fans can also join Plan B Burger Bar and the CT Beer Trail for “Bike’s & Beers” on Sunday, July 13th. Meet at Plan B of Simsbury at 12pm for a 20-mile ride through beautiful country roads of Simsbury.
