Morello of Greenwich launches a new two-course prix fixe lunch menu, which will be offered seven days a week, beginning Sunday, June 15.  It will be available throughout the summer in addition to Morello’s traditional Italian and Mediterranean menu items.

On Tuesday June 17, learn “How to Brew Your Own Beer at Home” at the Cyrenius H. Booth Library in Newtown.  This FREE class will teach you how to brew a beer at home as well as explore its history and different styles.  You will sample four different styles of home brew and learn about different ingredients.  You can sign up by calling the library 203-426-4533 or register here. Participants must be over 21. 

Also on Tuesday, Plan B of Milford presents a Game of Thrones Dinner.  Watch the finale while dining on 6 courses and drinks from the Ommegang Brewery.  $60pp, 6-9pm. 

Enjoy “Taco Tuesdays” at Lola’s Mexican Kitchen in Stamford.  Tacos and Coronitas are just $2 each from 5pm to 10pm.

City Limits Diner in Stamford just debuted its “Burger and Beer Blast” which will take place on Tuesdays.  From 5 p.m. to close, enjoy half priced draft pours of Stamford’s Half Full Brewery, plus Brooklyn Lager, Aiyinger Celebrator, Paulner Hefe, Stella Artois, Guinness, Sam Adams Summer Ale, and Half Full Brewery Bright Ale with the purchase of any City Limits burger.  

On Wednesday June 18, Harry’s of Fairfield presents “Wines of Italy” with Jim Morrison of Artisan Wines.  Try vino from Tuscany, Piedmont, Veneto, Sardinia, and several other classic wine regions.  $35 one session. 

The 18th marks another installment of Rare Beer Night at Half Full in Stamford.  The evening features 4 test batches and attendees receive 1/2 full pints of each beer (or more should you really like it!) Tasty food pairings are also provided. This is a sit down style event (not too formal though) and the night is limited to 40 tickets to keep things low key and intimate. Get your tickets ahead of time online- they are not available at the door. 

On Wednesdays, enjoy the Darien Farmers’ Market from 11-3pm.

Kensington’s Dining Room at the Norwich Spa presents a 4 course Wine Dinner on Thursday, June 19 at 7:00pm.  Advance reservations required, call 860-425-3630 for your reservations. $75.00 pp.  For the menu, visit: 

Jack Abbey Brewery comes to CT on Thursday June 19.  Cask Republic of New Haven will hold a launch party starting at 7pm.

Cask Republic will also be following the World Cup.  Join them for viewing parties and specials throughout the tournament. 

The Westport Farmers Market takes place on Thursdays from 10-2.

The Barnum Pub Fest comes to Bridgeport on Friday June 20.  The event celebrates the city’s downtown area restaurants, bars and The Bijou Theatre. Participating restaurants and bars will be serving up special drinks while you enjoy light buffets. End the night by joining local radio personalities and a great band for an after-party at the fabulous Bijou Theatre.  $20pp,  5:30-8. 

On Saturday June 21, Maltose Express Home Brew and Wine Making Supply Store presents “Cheese Making 101.”  Instructor Katie Gilmore will be making mozzarella, ricotta and cultured butter during her demonstration. Homemade wine will be paired with the cheeses at the end of class.  $40.00 per person, begins at 10am. 

For the first year ever, Black Rock will host its own Farmers Market!  Located near St. Mary’s, the Black Rock Farmers Market is held on Saturdays from 9-1 from June through October. 

The Milford Farmer’s Market also takes place on Saturdays from 9-1.
