Harbor Point in Stamford Hosts Memorial Day Celebration with Music, Food, & Fun CTbites Team May 21, 2014 BLT invites the community to officially kick off the summer with a block party immediately following the Stamford Boys and Girls Club Corporate 5K on May 22, with Food by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and Paloma, beverages by World of Beer, and music by celebrated local country band Jump the Gunn. BLT will also debut a variety of new events this summer. “On the Rocks,” a popup restaurant, bar, and live music venue on the Harbor Point waterfront, will open on May 23rd, featuring beer, wine, and food by Dinosaur BarBQue, Paloma, and local food trucks. Harbor Point will host live music on Thursday evenings, and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and Crab Shell have a full roster of bands throughout the summer. A farmers market will be held in Commons Park every Sunday beginning on June 15th, and free weekly outdoor movie screenings will begin on Friday, June 6th.
