Harry’s in Fairfield will present “Value Wines at Two Price Points” on February 20 (Thurs) from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.  Is a $25 wine always twice as good as a $12 wine? Each week, taste 4 quality wines at approximately $12 each and 4 wines about $25 each - all different wines from around the world. At the end of class each week everyone will guess the price of each bottle. This will be your chance to see how much the price counts toward value and quality.

You only have a few Thursday nights left in February before Match temporarily closes for a week in March and debuts a new menu.  Come in while you can for the special Thursday night burger.  Every Thursday night Match offers a gorgeous patty of locally raised (Roxbury, CT) grass fed beef on a Stamford baked caramelized onion brioche bun, smothered with a bacon-cheese sauce and sweet and sour onion jam, with ‘some of the best fries around’ for $17.00.

Also on Thursday the 20th, there will be an epic Wine & Beer Tasting at the Trumbull Marriot.  The tasting event attended by over 700 last year will once again donate proceeds to the Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital.  The Stratford Professional Firefighters Burn Foundation is partnering with Fairfield, Milford, Stratford, Norwalk, Westport Firefighters & ServiceMaster of Bridgeport in this charitable event to support the burn center.
