This Thursday, July 26th, Hunter King of King's Kitchen in Southport Beach will be the guest Chef at The Westport Farmers’ Market.
Hunter will be dishing out a seasonal favorite, tomato gazpacho, made with tomatoes from Riverbank Farm and served with a dollop of cucumber sorbet. In addition to this summer staple, Hunter will be making a fun twist on a classic, with Kings Kitchen Grilled Cheese Panini Fries. Made with Wave Hill Ciabatta, these fries are just as addicting as they sound, delicious, gooey, strips of grilled cheese heaven, cut to resemble a French fry!
King's Kitchen was started by Hunter and his brother Carter earlier this year and quickly established itself as a foodie destination, with guaranteed fresh, organic summer cuisine. With everything made to order, these delicious dishes are served with your toes in the sand and an unbeatable oceanfront backdrop. A strong advocate of shopping locally, Hunter is a regular at surrounding farmers markets and uses what he finds as inspiration for his ever-changing menu.
King's Kitchen is feeding hungry beach-goers 7 days a week, with lunch served from 11am-4pm and dinner 6pm-9pm. This gourmet, organic beach shack has been on my summer bucket list since I first heard of them and am delighted to have the opportunity to try their elevated beach fare at the Market. I have a feeling once won’t be enough, and with the weather we’ve been having I can’t think of anything better then a day at the beach. Come give your taste buds a tease this Thursday at The Westport Farmers’ Market.
