This weekend, don’t miss the third annual Chowdafest on Saturday, Feb. 5, from 11 am to 4 pm at Westport's Bedford Middle School. More than 20 different chowders, soups and bisques will be available for sampling with proceeds benefiting the Connecticut Food Bank.

Just over the border, the Chocolate, Dessert & Wine Lover's 'Tasting' Evening will benefit The Shelter for the Homeless onThursday, Feb 10, 6 pm at the Stamford Hilton, featuring 70 vendors, many of them local, serving decadent chocolates and confections and specialty beverages.

Tickets are now available for the 26th annual Great Chefs fundraiser set for Friday, March 4 at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich to benefit Greenwich Hospital. For reservations call (203) 863-3863.
