Dine with Design | Wine Tastings | Shake Shack Approved

Shake Shack wins Planning and Zoning approval for their space at 1849 Post Road East. The popular New York City burger shack is slated to open later this year.

Nicholas Roberts Fine Wines will host "A Vernal Epicurean Experience" a fund-raiser and wine tasting on Saturday, April 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Equinox Fitness.

A great introduction to the flavor profiles and art of brewing a perfect cup of coffee, Espresso NEAT is offering a 1 hour cupping tutorial and coffee tasting on Saturday April 2 at 1 p.m. 

The Philip Johnson Glass House just announced an exciting event called Dine With Design, an event connecting land and plate bringing together several talented chefs from Harvest to Heat cookbook to create dishes inspired by the landscape of New Canaan's National Trust Historic Site. leFarm's Bill Taibe will be one of five featured chefs at the event.Tickets are now available online.

Napa & Co. will host a Far Niente wine tasting of the labels Cabernet, Chardonnay and their award-winning Dolce wines, paired with California cheeses on Monday, April 4 at 6 p.m. The event is $55 per person.

Fairway Market is sending their Executive Chef Alan Riesenburger to Westport Center for Senior Activities for three cooking demos, the first,"How to Prepare a Roast Chicken" will be held on April 2.

The Westport Winter Farmers Market is closing on March 31. The Summer market will begin on May 26.

Save the Date: Caffeine & Carburetors, a gathering of vintage sports car enthusiasts will host their first meet-up of the season on Sunday, April 10 at Zumbach's Gourmet Coffee on Pine Street starting at 8 a.m.  

Sugar & Olives is offering a chilly class for adults and a fun camp for kids. Ice Cream Making Class for adults will be held on April 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. and will show you how to make a base, three flavors and a sorbet. Also, don't forget to sign-up your kids for this summer's Cookery Camp.

Izzi B allergen-free treats will host a cupcake tasting at Walter Stewart's on April 3 from 11:30 a.m.
