You don’t have to be in New Orleans to celebrate big on Mardi Gras! Connecticut restaurants are preparing everything from limited-time menu specials to all-out festivities to mark the occasion, so why not head out and take part? Here you will find a list of local businesses ready to dish out all things Cajun and Creole, complete with hurricanes, king cake, and, of course, beads. Guests of all ages can find something on this roundup to enjoy this Mardi Gras. Whether New Orleans-style cuisine is your absolute favorite or you just need a good excuse to let loose on a Tuesday night, there is something going on in nearly every corner of the state. And if you happen to be busy on the actual holiday, don’t fear – there are several events happening around Mardi Gras as well!
