They say life is a highway… and it’s a good thing too because more food trucks are hitting the streets than ever before!  Connecticut is home to a bevy of mobile eats serving everything from crepes to tacos to meatballs to grilled cheese.  Here are over 50 food trucks based in the Fairfield County area.  Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we cover even more in New Haven, Hartford, and Beyond!

  1. Milkraft Milktruck, Fairfield: Milkcraft has a Milktruck! They are available for private events and have had as many as 500 customers waiting in line when the truck hits the road.
  2. MamaKitchen, Stamford: MamaKitchen just opened in Stamford on Richmond hill in front of Jackie Robinson Field. It serves up authentic Dominican fare and is the first Chimi truck in the area.
  3. Seaside Sliders, Norwalk: Seaside Sliders by Mr. Frosty's is exactly what the name implies- hand-crafted sliders!
  4. Daniels Food Truck, Stamford: Daniel's Food Truck in Stamford is Guatemalan American fare on-the-go. They have everything from breakfast to burgers to "shukos" to tacos.
  5. Jefes Tacos n Grill, Stamford: Jefe's Tacos n Grill makes authentic Mexican food with fresh ingredients and seasoned spicy marinated meats cooked on a flat top grill. They also salads and burgers.
  6. Kona Ice, Stamford: Kona Ica is a fruit-based "smart snack" that's especially refreshing when the temperatures soar. Their mobile truck is based in Stamford.
  7. Liberty Rock Food Truck, Stratford: Liberty Rock Tavern in Stratford now has a food truck! It features elevated pub grub, much like the bar itself.
  8. Fire Engine Pizza Co, Bridgeport: Get delicious pies from a food truck resembling an actual fire engine from Fire Engine Pizza Co!
  9. Edible Couture, Stratford: Edible Couture in Stratford is known for its dessert cups and other sweet treats. Now, they have a truck so you can satisfy your sweet tooth on the go.
  10. Caffe Bon, Greenwich: Founded in 2010, Caffè Bon is a mobile espresso bar that serves Fairfield and Westchester counties. They offer espresso, paninis, dessert, and other Italian fare.
  11. Kenny Food Truck, Norwalk: Kenny Food Truck is an American-Spanish Fusion Food Truck that serves the Norwalk area.
  12. Zawack Shack, Ridgefield: Find Zawack Shack Monday through Saturday on Route 7 in Ridgefield from 11:30am-4pm. They use Hummel Bros. hot dogs and fresh ground beef and also serve chicken, fries, and more.
  13. Golden Spoon Jamaican Cuisine, Stamford: Golden Spoon brings authentic Jamaican cuisine and natural juices to the Stamford area.
  14. Magee’s Curbside, Stamford: Magee's Curbside serves up delicious breakfast and lunch in Stamford. Find it along the gateway to the Shippan area, near the Stamford Yacht Club and Shippan Point.
  15. Edison’s Famous Ice Cream, Fairfield: Edison's Famous Ice Cream visits the Fairfield area with Hawaiian shaved ice, fruit and vegetable juices, gluten and dairy free options, and more.
  16. Baked and Sauced, Norwalk: Baked & Sauced, based in Norwalk, will bring craft cocktails and homemade sweet treats to your next event.
  17. Bella Sera, Fairfield: Fairfield's beloved Bella Sera restaurant now has a truck and mobile kitchen so that they can bring their Italian cuisine to you!
  18. Crazy Taco Mex, Stamford: Crazy Taco Mex travels the streets of Stamford with tacos, quesadillas, burritos, tortas, and sides.
  19. HAPA Food Truck, Stamford: HAPA Food Truck, based in Stamford, serves three types of tacos: Korean short rib, Philippine chicken adobo, and Nonny’s sweet peppers. It also has beef and Ahi burgers, bowls of poke, and chicken adobo.
  20. The Tasty Yolk, Bridgeport: The Tasty Yolk serves up gourmet breakfast sandwiches in Bridgeport and beyond. Check their facebook page for updates on their latest stops.
  21. Pito Softrito, Stamford: Pito Sofrito in Stamford dishes up some amazing portable Puerto Rican lunch specials. They offer special unique sandwiches, chicken and pork Kebabs with barbeque or hot sauce, combo platters, and empanadas.
  22. Whisk + Brush, Bridgeport: Whisk + Brush brings their tasty doughnuts to Walrus + Carpenter, Source Coffehouse, farmers markets, and more.
  23. MOC Eatery, Stamford: M.O.C. stands for Moo Oink Cluck. Based in Stamford, they liken themselves to a "gastropub on wheels" using fresh local ingredients.
  24. Boothbay Lobster Company, Stamford: Boothbay Lobster Company, with a location in Stamford's Harbor Point, also has a food truck serving up their signature lobster rolls and more.
  25. Colony Grill, Various: Colony Grill's famous thin crust pizza is now available on the go. Book The Hot Oil Rig for your private events, corporate meetings, or community bashes.
  26. Vazzy’s Canteen, Fairfield County: Vazzy's is a Fairfield County institution. Now catch Vazzy's Canteen food truck at community festivals or hire them for your own event.
  27.  Little Box Pizza, Stamford: In addition to authentic pizza made with honest ingredients and crafted-to-order, each Little Box Pizza truck is operated by a deserving, hard working individual who is being given a chance to make their future brighter. Little Box Pizza’s first location will be at the First Presbyterian Church of Stamford
  28. Cowabunga Food Truck, Norwalk: Cowabunga food truck, based in Norwalk, is excited to announce a second food truck! The latest addition includes a four foot grill and 2 deep fryers.
  29. Tipsy Cones, Stratford: Tipsy Cones provides ice cream for adults! The brain child of a bartender, Tipsy Cones offers approximately 27 flavors of boozy ice cream like Creamy Whiskey Vanilla Bean, Maple Stout Swirl, and Strawberry Merlot Sorbet. They are centered in Stratford.
  30. Super Duper Weenie, Fairfield: Super Duper Weenie is a Fairfield hotspot for classic and creative hot dogs. Although now predominately used for catering and private events, the Super Duper Weenie truck has been hitting the streets since 1976.
  31. Snappy Dawgs, Bridgeport: Snappy Dawgs in Bridgeport parks at the corner of Main Street and Fairfield Avenue in downtown Bridgeport from 8am-2pm. They offer breakfast deals, creative signature hot dogs, and court-inspired specials as an homage to their location across from the court house.
  32. Dough Girls, Greenwich: Dough Girls serves up wood-fired pizza in the Greenwich area. They've also brought their pies to Two Roads.
  33. Spud Stud: The Spud Stud focuses on all things potato. Its signature product is the “Loaded Baked Potato," an enormous split potato stuffed with one of fourteen toppings. Patrons also love the "Pulled Pork Spud," which features BBQ pork, pickles, and coleslaw.
  34. Melt Mobile, Stamford & Norwalk: Melt Mobile serves everything from a deliciously simple grilled cheese to its "Insanewich," a burger encased in two grilled cheese sandwiches. The truck can be found from Stamford to Norwalk. It donates two percent of its proceeds to the Umbrella Club, a local charitable organization devoted to helping under privileged people and children in need
  35. Taco Loco, Bridgeport: Taco Loco is recognized as the first Mexican food truck in CT! The restaurant is based in Bridgeport. Meanwhile, they have two trucks that travel all over Connecticut and even into Westchester County and New York City. The Party Truck is a great option for catering. You even have the option to add on a margarita package.
  36. Have A Ball: Have A Ball food truck brings its delicious rice balls to the streets of Fairfield County. The rice balls resemble meatballs. Try The Pilgrim Ball that comes with wild rice stuffing and roast turkey or The Burrito Ball with seasoned rice, cheddar cheese, and grilled chicken topped with mole sauce, shredded cheddar, and homemade salsa verde.
  37. Chef Tony Delicias, Norwalk: Usually located in Norwalk, Chef Tony Delicias has a very loyal following. He serves burritos, tacos, and Mexican favorites from his truck.
  38. Pizza Luca: Pizza Luca dishes up some of the best wood fired Neapolitan pizza- and it's baked on the back of a 1952 Chevy flatbed truck! The truck makes rare appearances in the area, but when it does it is a must for any pizza lover. Try the Marinara, Margherita, Bianca, or Filetti pies.
  39. The Poutine King: The Poutine King prides itself on being "the first food truck in the north east United States" to offer Poutine, a Canadian dish. Those wanting a classic version can order the traditional poutine. More adventurous eaters can enjoy the Sweet Potato Poutine or the Poutine Burger.
  40. Taqueria Las Salsa: Located in the Auto-Zone parking lot several days a week, Taqueria Las Salsa serves 4” tacos as well as plates of Mexican food. There are 15 kinds of tacos ranging from cuerito (pork skins) to bistek (beef) to lengua (tongue).
  41. Source Coffeebus, Westport, Southport and Fairfield: The popular Buzz Truck is now the Source Coffeebus! Nitro cold brew coffee and tea is a new addition.
  42. Valencia Food Truck, Norwalk: Fans of Valencia Luncheria can get a taste of their delicious dishes at its food truck. The truck serves their delicious arepas along with burritos, salads, and more.
  43. Skinny Pines: The Skinny Pines pizza truck sells wood fired pizzas. It makes use of local ingredients by sourcing its toppings from area farms. The menu changes with the season, but past pizzas have been topped with fresh sun gold tomatoes, zucchini, scapes, garlic, eggplant, and more.
  44. Tacos El Azteca, Norwalk: El Azteca taco truck in Norwalk serves 4” tacos topped with some of the best fillings in the area. You can also choose from their quesadillas, burritos, and tortas.
  45. Bodega Taco Bar Food Truck, Fairfield: Fans of Bodega’s Mexican inspired fare can visit them on a street corner nearby or grab a taco while partaking in a local event. You can also book Bodega's truck for your own event. Bowls of hand slapped guacamole, pico de gallo, and cucumber mango salsa with fresh corn tortilla chips are a true crowd pleaser. For an outdoor party, they offer the Paella Party, Parrilla Mixed Grill, and a Whole Roasted Pig Fiesta.
  46. Christophe’s Crepes: Christophe's Crepes serves delicious crepes with traditional French fillings. The kinds of crepes change every day, but the menu always has five savory crepes and nine sweet. Past selections have included pear and gorgonzola with walnuts and nutella with strawberries.
  47. El Charrito Taco Truck, Stamford: El Charrito is one of the original food trucks in Fairfield County. Found daily at Jackie Robinson Park in Stamford CT, it serves some of the best Mexican food around. For example, the Alambre is an open-faced corn tortilla with meat, sauteed peppers, onions, cheese, and cactus.
  48. Lobstercraft: LobsterCraft roams from Stamford to Shelton . The truck offers five kinds of lobster rolls. "The Coastal" is a classic New England lobster roll, while menu items like the "California Roll" are twists on the favorite. The latter uses avocado, cucumer, and wasabi soy sauce. The menu goes beyond lobster rolls. They serve a Lobster Kielbasa Mac & Cheese, crabcakes, and bisque as well.
  49. The Local Meatball: Whether beef, chicken, pork, or chicken, The Local Meatball cooks up creative meatball interpretations. Their "Gobbler" meatball incorporates Thanksgiving staples like stuffing, cranberries, and turkey. For a more traditional dish, try their "Classic" meatball. 
  50. Maddy’s, Stamford: Maddy’s cooks up authentic Caribbean and contemporary American cuisine. Patrons count the Southern Chicken Salad and Crispy Conch with French Fries among their favorite dishes.
  51. Nosh Hound, Stamford: Nosh Hound is the brainchild of owners Sam Ralbovsky and Maycie Maringer. After graduating from the Culinary program at Johnson & Wales University and a three-month cross country food inspired road trip, they returned to Sam’s hometown of Stamford, CT to offer “global cuisine experienced through the medium of sandwiches, snacks, and small bites.”
  52. Walter's Hot Dogs: Stamford: There are two Walter's hot dog trucks! Now serving Westchester and beyond, they are ready to get mobile, fire up the grills, and bring the unique Walter’s experience to you. Hot dogs,  specialty fries, funnel cake fries, and homemade ice cream.
  53. Weenie Lynn's, Danbury: Weenie's is more than just a hot dog truck with over 20 toppings and condiments, beer-braised bratwurst, grilled kielbasa, gourmet grilled sandwiches (The Porker, The Pickelena, The Popeye, Weenie Panini, The Cowboy), fresh-cut, twice-fried, french fries and fresh, made-to-order mini donuts.
