Rothbard Ale & Larder will put on an Austrian Wine Dinner on Wednesday June 7.  Feast on a five-course dinner with wine pairings by Gabe Cleary, Portfolio Director of Terry Theise Estate Selections. White Asparagus Soup with Truffle, Pork Terrine, and Confit Roasted Suckling Pig are all on the menu!  

AMG Catering continues their adult cooking classes with a “Bring Your Chianti Class - Tuscan dinner party menu” class.  Learn to make assorted spring bruscettas, Chicken, pancetta and bean stew with sage, Tagliatelle with field mushrooms, lemon and tarragon, and Strawberry and mascarpone trifle.  It costs $90 per person and runs from 7-9pm. 

Chop Shop Cooking School presents a “Fiesta Party” class on Wednesday June 7.  It includes dishes like Grilled Scallop on Tortilla w/ Corn Avocado Salsa, Black Bean Pancakes, Lobster Quesadillas,  Smoked Paprika Chicken Fajitas and more.  Join them in Westport from 7-9pm.  It costs $80 per person. 

On Saturday June 10, join Chef Pat Siciliano at Bar Sugo for a pizza making class at 12pm.  It costs $45 per person, plus tax and tip.  Call 203-956-7134 to reserve your space.

Visit Ambler Farm for a Sunset Hoedown on Saturday June 10!  The evening features a BBQ catered by Barcelona, a signature drink, square dancing, hayrides, s’mores, and more.   Members are $100 per person and non-members are $115 per person.  Registration is required and can be completed online.  

In celebration of the native quahog, Slow Food Shoreline is hosting a clamming event on Saturday, June 10 at Walnut Beach in Milford, CT from 3:30-7:30 pm. The event will include instructor-led clam raking in the Long Island Sound, speakers on the ecology and history of clamming in the Long Island Sound, and a menu inspired by clams! 

World Gin Day is Saturday June 10, and to celebrate Hartford will hold the first ever GinFest at The Society Room.  Inspired by the gin festivals in the United Kingdom, the event will give fans of gin the chance to try an array of the spirit, from traditional to craft.  It costs $45 per person and tickets can be purchased online. 

Eat for a cause!  On Saturday June 10, Grace Church in Trumbull is the backdrop for a Buy One Feed TWO Fundraiser to benefit the Bridgeport Rescue Mission and Trumbull Food Pantry.  From 8am-2pm, choose from Bacon, Egg, and Cheese, French Toast, Cinnamon Bread Slices, and more.

Harbor Point- Stamford’s up and coming dining destination- will host a luxury car show on Sunday June 11 from 10am-4pm.  All proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club.  The event is free, but you can register online. 

T.H.C. (The Hops Company) in Derby has announced a new Sunday brunch feature.  From 12-3pm, enjoy bottomless cider mimosas, micheladas, or bloody marys along with one item off the brunch menu for $23.  And don’t forget about their raw bar happy hour from 3-7pm on Fridays!

Killam & Bassette Farmstead in Glastonbury invites the whole family to a Flag Day Free Farm Tasting on Sunday June 11.  From 1-4pm, visitors can try the farm’s own chicken tacos, chocolate covered strawberries, and famous "jam bar.”  There will also be live music, hayrides, wine tasting, local coffee, kids activities, face painting, farm animals, games, a "makers market,” and more. 

Black Hog Brewing and Ken Tuccio present the Third Annual Flag Day Corn Hole Tournament on Sunday June 11 from 1-5pm.  Admission is free, with food available for purchase from popular food trucks and plenty of tasty brews!

Barcelona Fairfield hosts their Annual Wine & Swine Dinner on Sunday June 11 from 4-7pm.  The evening unfolds out on the patio and highlights Spanish wines from the European Cellars portfolio, selected by William Miller of Harry's Wine & Liquor Market and Gretchen Thomas.  The four course meal includes Salmon Tartare, English Pea Montadito, Roasted Suckling Pigs, and Chocolate Tres Leche Cake.   

Black Rock Day 2017 takes place on Sunday June 11.  The day starts off with the 5K Run for the Rock at 9am, the famous Bed Race at 11:30am, and a parade at noon.  From 1-6pm, participate in the celebration at Ellsworth Field with local food trucks, live music, brews, beverages, and more. 

Kosher Like Me, based in Westport, CT, has announced the first ever CT Jewish Food Fest on June 11.  It will take place at Temple Israel in Westport from 11am-4pm.  The festival is presented by Federation for Jewish Philanthropy and will include food trucks, cooking demonstrations, local vendors, kids activities, a discussion on Jewish food values, Keynote speaker Jeff Yoskowitz, and much more. 

Caren’s Cos Cobber in Greenwich has a new cocktail menu for the summer.  Try drinks like Caren’s Happy Heart, Cardinal Cosmo, Caren’s Famous Blueberry Lemonade, and more.

Jesup Hall in Westport now serves lunch!  Join them Wednesday-Saturday from 12-2:30pm.
