Wave Hill Breads Open For Bakery Tours Every Saturday!

CTbites Team

Central Norwalk’s award-winning artisan bakery, Wave Hill Breads, is now open to the public every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Visitors will be greeted by the owners, Margaret Sapir and Mitchell Rapoport, or by the Chief Baker, Tim Topi, who can give you a tour of the bakery. They can also arrange for fun, educational group visits.

While Wave Hill Breads is known primarily as a wholesale bakery, selling to some of the best restaurants and stores in the area, Saturdays offer local residents an opportunity to shop direct. Visitors will find many items not available at stores, such as just-out-of-the-oven-at-11 fresh Rosemary Roman Focaccia, Pumpernickel, Apricot Croissants, Wild Yeast Bread (Sourdough), and Cranberry-Walnut Demi-Baguettes.

The bakery is located at 30 High Street, between Post Road and Wall Street, and offers on-site parking. Special orders for rolls and other artisan products will be accepted with three days’ notice. Orders can be emailed to orders.whb@gmail.com, or phoned in at 203 762-9595.  More information can be found at www.wavehillbreads.com.
