Beloved Heibeck’s Stand will officially open in Wilton on Tuesday April 10.

Stony Creek Brewery in Branford will host the first ever showing of the No Man's Land Film Festival on Tuesday April 10.  The No Man's Land Film Festival is an all-female adventure film festival based out of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.  Doors open at 6pm and a $10 admission donation goes to the CCAP o advance cycling for girls in Connecticut. 

Visit the Tasty Yolk during the month of April for the “Wilburrito 2.0” special.  The breakfast offering consists of Cochinita Pernil (pulled pork), cheddar cheese, 2 eggs, and guacamole.

On Tuesday April 10, Fairfield Cheese Company will hold “Cheese 101,” their popular class covering cheese basics.  Learn about cheese-making, storage, and serving and taste an assortment of cheeses alongside complementary wines.  Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased online.   

The Beach House Café serves Happy Hour every Monday through Friday from 4-6:30pm.  It features $7 select craft cocktails, $5 house wine, $4 select beer, and a bar menu full of delicious Beach House small plates!

Prime 16 Tap House + Burgers is celebrating 10 years in New Haven with Happy Hour all day featuring ½ off draft beer, house infused cocktails, and sangrias, and $5 happy hour bites.  There will also be 10 beers from New England Brewing Company!

Artisanal Burger Company in Manchester invites you to the ultimate showdown: New York vs. Boston!  On Wednesday April 11, Chef Anothy Phenis will cook on behalf of New York while Chef Paul McKenzie will represent Boston.  The meal includes 5 courses paired with 5 beers.  Tickets are $60 each.   

On Thursday April 12, Chop Shop Cooking presents “Spring From the Sea.”  Learn to make Sesame Crusted Tuna Tacos with Mango Chimichurri and Sriracha Cream; Shrimp Saganaki with Feta; Seared Scallops with Pine Nut Agrodolce; and Pan Roasted Skate with Brown Butter and Capers.  It costs $80 per person and runs from 7-9pm.   

The IRONS Restaurant & Bar at Hilton Mystic has serves brunch each Sunday from 11am to 3pm.  The brunch, aptly named “Shaken, Stirred and Poached,” includes twists on classic brunch dishes and creative cocktails. 

The Connecticut Wingfest returns to the Danbury Ice Arena on Saturday April 14 from 4-8pm.  Attendees can sample wings from local restaurants before a panel of judges determines who has the best!  There will be live music, activities, and beer available for purchase.  Admission is $20.   

Kitchen at CitySeed in New Haven will have a two-part “Sweet Treats from Across the Globe” Cooking Class.  Meet cooks from Syria, Afghanistan, Sudan and Latin America, learn about their culinary backgrounds and inspirations, and gain insight into the experiences of new immigrants and refugees as they adjust as new residents of New Haven. The first session takes place on Sunday April 15 and the second takes place on Sunday April 22.  Class is limited to 15 people.   

Miranda Vineyard in Goshen will open for the spring season on Sunday April 15!
