A recent Westport transplant from New York City, Melissa was a food editor for Gourmet for almost 9 years, where she toiled happily in the test kitchen developing and writing recipes for the magazine. Pre-Gourmet, she was a cook and stylist in the Food Network's kitchen. A mom of two boys, her present life includes freelance recipe writing and testing for magazines and websites, including greenmarket trolling for this one.
