Quick Facts: Chicago native, but east coaster for the last 20 years; food-obsessed roots, Julia Child actually came to my folks house for dinner; ex-PR gal for cookware and a few chefs before there was such a thing as celebrity chefs; lives in Fairfield with her hungry husband and kids and considers every family dinner a quick fire challenge.

My current food cravings are: Fatty Crab’s chili sauce.  I want to bath in it!

The only fast food I will eat is: My daughter’s leftovers, preferably fries or crust.

If I could be any Iron Chef, I would be: Can't decide

My favorite restaurant in Fairfield County is: Le Farm in Westport, if I could move in I would.

My favorite restaurant in the Tri-State area is: Very High brow, Blue Hill at Stone Barn, lower brow, Porchetta

Restaurant dish I wish I could make at home: E Builli-esque molecular gastronomy

My go-to dinner party entrée is: The Silver Palate’s Chicken Marbella or Zuni Café’s Chicken and Bread Salad, am I dating myself?

When I’m not eating, I’m….thinking about eating.

Prepared food I have let people think was home-made…Not me.  But I would pass off a bombed first-run recipe attempt as store bought!

I’d rather pick (pumpkins, apples, strawberries): whatever is in season

The last book I enjoyed was: The Book Thief

My favorite movie of all time is: The Princess Bride, or if I’m feeling indulgent, Sixteen Candles, okay, I said it.

My favorite food related movie of all time is: Can’t think of favorite a movie, but TopChef is my porn.
