Pat's Hubba Hubba in Stamford Closing After 25 Years via HeyStamford!

While the burger scene in Stamford seems to always be expanding, at the end of March we’ll be losing a legend.  Pat’s Hubba Hubba, the iconic Cove Rd. burger spot, announced via their web site that they will close their doors at the end of March.

Pat Carta opened his first restaurant over 50 years ago in in Greenwich and the current Stamford location at 820 Cove Road for nearly 25 years. Here’s the announcement:

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of Pat’s Hubba Hubba after almost 25 years.  Our father, the late Pat Carta, founded Pat’s Hubba Hubba in Greenwich, CT over 50 years ago.  He was known for his impeccable customer service, good humor, and passion for perfection.
