Mecha Noodle Bar SoNo invites you to their holiday party on December 30 at 10:30pm.  $10 gets you food and two beverage tickets… plus access to a night of live music and fun.  That’s pho sure!

Why not counteract holiday indulgences with a run?  OK, so it’s a beer run.  Half Full Brewery’s Pub Run starts and finishes at the brewery the 4th Wednesday of every month.  The group is of all abilities and ages.  Join them at 7:30pm on December 28.

How about some Bluegrass after the holiday tunes?  On December 29, Walrus + Carpenter in Bridgeport invites you to BrewGrass, which features music from BrewGrass players Dan Carlucci, David Kaye, Peter Kaufman, and Kenny Owens.

Chop Shop Cooking has announced its January and February 2017 schedule.  See it here:

Betsy and Jesse Fink of Wilton, CT are pleased to announce the sale of Millstone Farm to Eliane and Volckert van Reesema of Rowayton, CT.  In ten years of ownership the Finks have turned Millstone Farm into a model for sustainable agriculture that cultivates local, regional and global communities.  It was extremely important to the Finks that they find a like-minded buyer to carry on their vision of stewardship, community building and education.  For more information about Millstone Farm’s transition contact Joan Briggs at jbriggs@mstgrp.com or Matt Motley at matt@varecoholdings.com.

Ring in the New Year with Sunset Meadow Vineyards Wine!  The tasting room has special holiday hours.  Join them all week between December 26th and New Year's Day from 11am-5pm.

Details have been announced for the 14th annual Mohegan Sun WineFest!  The festival runs from January 27-29.  The weekend kicks off with a bourbon tasting and even features chefs Aaron Sanchez and Mario Batali.  Tickets are on sale now!

Many of Connecticut’s most popular restaurants are ringing in 2017 with New Year’s Eve bashes!  These are just a few:

  •  Coalhouse Pizza in Stamford will welcome 2017 with a Founders & Maine Tap Takeover, BBQ Buffet, DJ, 72 craft beers on tap, an open bar, and a midnight champagne toast.
  • Millwright's has two NYE seatings: 5-6:30pm and 7-10pm.  They are 4 and 6 course prix fixe meals, respectively.
  • For just $90, partake in a dinner buffet, top shelf open bar from 9pm-1am, and a champagne toast at Brother Jimmy's in Stamford.

Some Connecticut restaurants are also open on New Years Day.  For example, Mill Street Bar + Table will serve a special brunch while The Fez in Stamford gets creative with a brunch for dinner starting at 5pm.
