Greenwich Restaurant Week returns November 12-18!  This year, there are over 30 participating restaurants with special deals.  View full list of participants and offers here .

On Wednesday November 11, Veuve Clicquot and Le Fat Poodle in Greenwich are teaming up for a Ladies Night Out!  “Le Grande Dame Ladies Night” will feature champagne and truffles with winemaker Pierre Casenave.  The cost is $95 per person, plus tax and gratuity.  It starts at 7pm.  Reservations are required.  Please call 203-717-1515.

“The Hub” is back in Cos Cobb!  On Thursday November 12, they will hold the “Monger Mingle,” an open house style event featuring Greenwich Cheese Co., Fleisher’s Craft Butchery, and Fjord Fish Market.  It runs from 7-9pm and benefits Community Plates.

This weekend, November 14 & 15, Stew Leonard’s invites you to get a “taste of Thanksgiving!” From 11am-3pm, they are going to have sampling stations all over the store featuring their most popular Thanksgiving dishes such as fresh turkey and home-style stuffing. 

The Elm City Brew Festival returns to New Haven on Saturday November 14 from 1-5pm.  Guests can sample craft brews and enjoy food from New Haven’s Geronimo Restaurant Group.  General admission is $25 in advance, $30 at the door.  VIP tickets are also available for advance purchase for $35 and grant admission at noon. 

Old Greenwich Fine Wines & Cheese will hold a two part Thanksgiving wine tasting event.  On Saturdays November 14 & 21, stop by between 1 and 7pm to try wines suitable for the holiday. 

The Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum will host an authentic 18th-Century Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 15.  Kathy Rudder, a colonial-foodways artisan, will portray one of the guests at the first Thanksgiving, Priscilla Alden.  Guests can mingle with her at an opening reception before sitting down to the historic feast at 1pm.  Tickets are available via PayPal through the WDS web site: http://webb-deane-stevens.org/thanksgiving-tickets and by phone: 860-529-0612.

Grace Farms, recently opened in New Canaan, is a haven for people to come together and enjoy nature.  On Thursday November 12 and Saturday November 14, join them from 12:45-2:15pm for tea followed by a walk along the river.  It costs $25 per person and the walk is limited to 15 people. Join Back East, Hartford Baking Company, Nat Hayden's BBQ, NORA cupcakes, Bushy Hill Farms, and Yelp for a night out at Back East Brewery on November 11 from 4-7pm.  The evening will include unlimited samples from Back East, as well as bread, BBQ, and cupcakes all made with Back East beer. Tickets are $35 each and limited to 50 tickets.  Tickets will be on sale at Back East and Hartford Baking Company.
