Have you always wanted to be on the set of Iron Chef, experiencing first hand that thrilling moment when the chefs are presented with the "secret ingredient?" Well, on June 2nd, you will get the opportunity to watch three talented chefs battle it out in an outdoor tented cooking stadium with the formidable Jane Stern of Roadfood.com as the host. 200 attendees will help to judge a winner alongside guest judges Denise Mickselson of Fine Cooking Magazine, Stephen Fries, columnist for the New Haven Register, WTNH Anchor Jocelyn Maminta, as well as our own Managing Editor Amy Kundrat as referee.

On June 2nd from 4-7pm, Chefs Art Michaelsen of Bartolo, Sarah Bouissou of Bernard's / Sarah's Wine Bar and Raffaele Gallo of The Boathouse will be surprised with a basket of four ingredients. A pantry will be ready. You get to watch them work. Each chef will have 40 minutes to create an entree for the judges, and will prepare an appetizer and dessert course for guests to enjoy. In addition to the cooking, the Battle Of The Chefs will feature demonstrations by other local culinary specialists as well as a boutique of specialty foods and wares, including 109 Cheese & Wine

Attendees will have an opportunity to bid for an open slot on the judging panel. 

Ticket sales support the remarkable Founder's Hall in Ridgefield, a donor sponsored education and recreation center which offers lifelong learning, fitness and fun to over 3,200 people age 60 and older. Founder's Hall provides community and classes ranging from cooking and art to computer skills and creative writing. Help keep this unique resource up and running.
