This just in from The Westport Daily Voice...

The owner of Cuvée, an upscale Zagat-rated restaurant and lounge in West Hartford, is set to open a new eatery with a different name on Westport’s Main Street.

A lease for the 3,000-square-foot space on the lower level of 125 Main St., underneath the Gap, was signed Sept. 7, Westport developer David Waldman said Wednesday. Todd Rose, the restaurant's owner, is aiming for a spring opening, said Waldman. His firm —David Adam Realty — represented the landlord and Rose in lease negotiations.

"He [Rose] is a very good operator, and he’s got a very good following," Waldman said. "I really think he’ll have a great chance of success there.”

Cuvée’s menu is eclectic, offering a variety of food styles, including new and traditional American cuisine, Italian, Japanese and vegetarian. Menu items include salads, burgers, sandwiches, lobster rolls, sushi, tacos, desserts and more.
