Harvest Supper in New Canaan Closes
Residents and visitors who walk down Elm Street in New Canaan will notice a change in the restaurant scenery. After several years Harvest Supper closed its doors on Saturday, June 30. Known in town for incredibly delicious food and included on our list of recommended hamburgers in Fairfield County, many will miss the coziness of the interior and the inventive cuisine designed by Chef Dan Kardos.
Stay tuned as CTbites investigates where Restaurateur Grace Lamb next takes her culinary vision.

That's unfortunate. The service and quality of the food were great. After Kardos left, the menu suffered from repetitiveness and could not keep up with some of the new offerings in town. Loved Grace Lamb and hope they try something else in town. good luck!
Bummer. Great restaurant.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Grace will probably not be opening up anything in CT. She closed it because she doesn't need it. Nothing to do with Kardos leaving (he never stopped consulting on the menu) or the menu staying the same. Other than Elm there now are no good restaurants in Poo Canaan.
@Harvest Moon
I am always glad when people are passionate about restaurants in New Canaan. But there are many very good to excellent restaurants in New Canaan in addition to elm. I would place the following on such a list...Carpe Diem, Kouzina, Boulevard 18, Thali, Farmer's Table, Bistro Bonne Nuit, Cava, and Chef Louis. There are others in town that I have not been to recently so I do not have a current opinion.
You should try some of them. You will be pleased with the delicious food.
Boring.
Agree with the above - all the other restaurants are boring - all the same
