Shout Out: Best Brunch Spot in Connecticut

Breakfast with a dash of lunch, paired with a cocktail and not a single dirty dish to clean. That's brunch in a nutshell. What more could a mother want for Mother's Day?

CTbites wants you to throw down your top candidates for BEST BRUNCH in CONNECTICUT.

Is it a spot with white table cloths, or the neighborhood joint with individually wrapped maple syrup packets. Either way, we won't judge (much).

Which spot is your favorite for brunch? Why?

I agree. I love Schoolhouse brunch. I also have had a good experience at Tavern on Main in Westport. I am looking forward to other responses because brunch is my favorite meal of the week and hoping to learn of some new places to try around Fairfield county - especially kid friendly!

Splash in Westport. Not the trendiest joint around, but the spread is diverse (from raw bar to great salads to carving station to desserts), you can't beat the view, the place is bright, kids can run on the lawn if they finish first and the price is reasonable for the amount of selection (and champagne!)

I must get to Nicholas Roberts - but my brunch vote goes the extra mile to Watch Hill Rhode Island @ The Ocean House. The hotel transcends you to a different era and the food is awesome.
