We've been speaking with chefs and restaurateurs over the past few days and we are pleased to annouce that there are many places to eat out if you need to escape the very dark hallways in your house. Here are some of the venues we know of thus far. Keep the list going and add your intel below if you know of restaurants open near you:
Westport: Rizzuto's, Viva Zapata, Terrain, Five Guys, Oaxaca, Julian's Brick Oven Pizza, Tarry Lodge, Gold's Deli (serving soup), Westport Farmers' Market, The Whelk, Tarantino's, Mario's.
Norwalk: Barcelona, Match, The Spread, Valencia Luncheria, Coromandel, Strada 18, Wave Hill Breads Bakery, Bar Sugo, Fat Cat Pie Co., Sono Baking Co.,(actually, SoNo never lost power).
Stamford: Barcelona, Bartaco, Thali, Coromandel, Quattro Pazzi, The Boatyard
Fairfield: The Chelsea, Liana's, Bodega Taco Bar, Catch A Healthy Habit, The Pantry
Darien: Thali, Burgers Shakes & Fries,
New Canaan: Elm, Boulevard 18, Carpe Diem, Cava, South End, Cherry Street East (most of NC is open for business)
Southport: Coromandel
Weston: The Lunchbox
Greenwich: Boxcar Cantina, eleven14 Kitchen, Morello Bistro, China White

Ancona's Market is cooking meals all day...the power may be out, but you can't stop our chefs! Today's menus:

I hear Gray Goose may get their power back this afternoon.
Update from Half Full Brewery in Stamford: "This weekend, take a brief respite from the clean up to join us tomorrow night at our Open House from 5-8pm. $15 gets you in the door with a glass to keep and samplings galore! On Saturday from 12-3pm, $10 gets you a tour, a pint glass to keep and four 8oz samples. A portion of all proceeds this weekend will go to the rebuilding effort."
Times like these reminds us that we are all neighbors, so our neighborhood discount on growlers ($2 off fills) will apply to everyone all weekend! Time to get "half full"!
Stamford Mall: Mitchell's Fish Market, and Plan B Burger are open.
Btw Basso caffe never lost power, is been open since Tuesday. I was this morning for lunch, and it was amazing and as far as I know is open for lunch an dinner
Southport Brewing Company in Southport will be reopening their doors today, November 2nd, between 4 and 5 o'clock for normal dinner service.
Joe's American has WiFI. and places to charge your phones. And is giving bags of ice to whom ever needs it.
Shake Shack in Westport is back in business with a limited menu as of TODAY. Open till 9pm tonight.
Went to Michael Gennato's Steakhouse Friday night. Just reopened , nice to have a great steakhouse in the area.
Bernard's in Ridgefield finally got power back!! Open for business.
