CTbites' Blues & BBQ Festival Chef Demo Tent Recap

For anyone who did not make it to The Blues Views & BBQ Festival this weekend, here's what you missed.

See if you can find the following:

1. This Westport newcomer (donning a Mr. Delicious Tee) has a way with knives.

2. Banh who? What's inside Matt Storch's (Match Restaurant) Vietnamese sliders?

3. Contributor alert! Jeff Schlesinger, aka "Jfood" & Carly Monson, our 10 year old food critic at large.

4. Chef Helton DaSilva of Barcelona Restaurant getting smokey with his Graze-supplied beef chimichurri.

5. Lamb burgers and copious amounts of tahini c/o Tabouli Grill's Judy Roll.

6. Name that protein. Chef Pietro Scotti of Da Pietro's came with slices of this meat, the sleeper hit of the day paired with a citrusy bbq sauce.

I thought the Mr. Delicious Tee had been taken already by another local Chef...Doesn't look right

I can't confirm or deny this, but it's possible they did some shopping together. At the risk of sounding like a cheap tabloid, they are friends, so I'm sure there are no MR. Delicious turf wars going on. It's a darn fine shirt on any fan of the pig.
