Ridgefield Farmers' Market

The Ridgefield Farmers' Market has returned this year in a new location adjacent to the Ridgefield Boys and Girls Club just off Governor Street. Open for the past month, this year the market has beefed up their presence with guest chefs and a growing list of regular vendors, that takes place weekly throughout the summer on Fridays from 2 to 6 p.m.

Guests chefs including recently Sarah Boisseau of Sarah's Wine Bar and Bernard's in Ridgefield and a rotation of live music and face painting are regular fixtures at the Market and help to draw the weekly regular crowds from Ridgefield, Wilton, Weston and other surrounding towns.

Upcoming guest chefs include Chef Jehan from Albanos Appliances in Pound Ridge and Reed Collyer from Collyer Catering in Westport. The "Market Masters" are three familiar faces in Ridgefield including Monica Brown, Eileen Segelman and Pam Rybarczyk, each of whom work on securing vendors and Friends of the Market to help underwrite the costs of the vendors.

Vendors include, 109 Cheese & WineButterfield Farms, Cooley Creations, Garden of ideas, Gilberties Herbs, Greyledge Farms Killam and Bassette FarmsteadNod Hill SoapRiverbank FarmRoss' BreadSimpaug Farms, Veronica's Garden, Wave Hill BreadsWhistle Stop Bakery.
