Filling Station Company is Coming To Stamford!
Filling Station Company just gave us the word that they have officially signed a lease at 3 Landmark Square in Stamford. FSC's second restaurant is located on the Atlantic Street side of the Landmark Square, just opposite the Palace Theatre (and attention movie-goers-a direct stones throw from the Majestic Cinema complex). The location features an outside terrace for about forty guests that will serve as a bier garden featuring local beers. Here's the best news...the 1800 sq. Ft interior space will accommodate about 40 diners. For those of you who frequent the New Canaan location, you can now comfortably seat your family...no matter how big the posse.
We will keep you posted on the build out and opening date.

Oooooh!! How exciting!!!
As someone who works in 3 Landmark Square this is spectacular news.
i hear burgers, shakes and fries is looking a third one in stamford as well. so long filling station.
Clarence, BS&F is good, but Filling Station is better. Sorry. :)
really??? 2 oz burgers are better?? not in my book. but maybe you are a small eater.
You know the old saying.... Quality vs. Quantity
i've been watching this unfold. quality?? you have got to be kidding. because someone uses something that is "organic" its better? bsf uses the same meat guy as j.g. melon. are filling stations burgers better than their's? i live in stamford and work downtown and I eat at melon's often. if i want a burger around here i am going to bsf or le farm in westport if i want a great burger. don't let living in new canaan skew your judgement.
They're both good, why does this need to be a war? bsf is in Greenwich and darien, Filling Station is in New Canaan and Stamford. Different towns, different clientele. Both will be affected by Shake Shack when they come to westport. band together to support these local businesses and stop fighting each other.
agreed. support your local retailers and restaurants. well put.
Why can't we all get along!? :) Good to see a passionate debate about FSC, BSF & Shake Shack. We at FSC are big fans of BSF and Shake Shack. And boy, do we love Le Farm! There's room for all of us, each with distinct differences.
For the record:
Filling Station Company burgers are 3 ounces
Shake Shack burgers are 3 ounces / new location is 14 miles from Stamford and 11 miles from Darien
Five Guys are 3 ounces
BSF are 5 ounces
And for some perspective:
Le Farm burgers are $20. It's a completely different dining experience....but well worth the price! The aforementioned are all about $4
Organic or grass fed does not necessarily imply a better burger, better fries or better shakes; what's important here is that you are not putting hormones, anti-biotics or pesticides into your system - especially those of your kids.
Thank you all for supporting local business and Happy St. Patties Day! Stop by for a Guinness Shake and say hello!
I agree that we are very fortunate we have so many choices in New Canaan, Darien and Stamford for very good burgers. All are different in price, size, toppings, meat and buns.
Jeff, Le Farm is in Westport, not Stamford.
And regardless of where you get your burger, good to see there should be ample business for the local gyms and Zumba outfits given the influx of grease into the area in the coming months. Circle of life (or should I say, the ever-expanding belt of life).
Five Guys burgers are 3.6 ounces...
