The soppressata & chilies (with carmelized onion) pizza at Stanziato's in Danbury. It is an ideal combination of salt and spice, savory and sweet. I find myself craving it almost every week.

I'm taking the show on the road for the answer to this question since I enjoyed too many incredible meals in FFD County in 2011 to choose 1. Yes that is called being a coward. :-)

For my Birthday my family treated me to a food-fest in New Orleans with an incredible BBQ Shrimp at Mr. B's Bistro followed by a Birthday Dinner at Restairant August.

I'm going with the dishes I have eaten most often this year:
Valencia Luncheria's "Breakfast Typico" featuring soft poached eggs, black beans, avocado & rice with their "crack" Chipotle sauce.
Napa & Co's Charred Octopus with Chorizo (or Harissa) and Chick Peas
leFarm's Shrimp & Grits...the ultimate comfort food.
Matt Storch's (Match) White Truffle Risotto. Only had the opportunity to eat this once but I'm still thinking of that first bite.

Burger at Lefarm is pretty, pretty, pretty good but last week had the pork belly on cornbread with apples and it may knock the burger from the top of the Lefarm mountain.
