For cheeky food news I'm usually logged into Eatocracy. For recipes I'm always checking Serious Eats, specifically Slice, and although I'm a carnivore, I can't help but love the vegan recipes on OhSheGlows. For recent inspiration I'm scouring David Leibovitz, French Fridays with Dorie and La Tartine Gourmande. And of course I'm always reading local/regional food blogs on CTbites Links We Like" .

My fave go to site is www.smittenkitchen.com. The author is LOL funny and a committed farmers' markets shopper. Just as you think you are gonna bust if you encounter another bunch of kale, Deb comes to the rescue with a great recipe. She indexes by season and ingredients, making this site an easy resource for inspiration.

I love looking at all sorts of food blogs, but here are a few of my favorites: 101 Cookbooks, La Tartine Gourmande, Elana's Pantry, Kalyn's Kitchen.

I love Mark Bittman's blog www.bittman.com
I also read The Burger Beast www.burgerbeast.com because he's an acquaintance
Steve Raichlens BarbecueBible.com
I enjoy Foodista and Food2 also
There's so many it's hard to read them all. That said, I've (re-)started mine: @CookingCuban www.cookingincuban.com in the late 90s, having a webpage meant you used Geocities because domain names & webhosting were expensive. I'd started it and was running it for a couple of years. then one day I deleted it by accident and all my hard work was lost.

I get every month the Newsletter from Emiliefrenchchef.com. I love looking at the recipe ot the month as it is usually original and tasty and not too complicated. I also love the section dedicated to "What is happening in ladies kitchen in Paris". Lauren

CT Bites is wonderful for Fairfield County residents! I find myself referring to it more frequently than the CT Zagat's guide for it's up-to-the minute reviews and new openings. Nice work always -- and thank you.

Orangette is also one of my favorite food blogs. I learned about it and others from Gwyneth Paltrow's site Goop.com. She has great taste and sensibility. Here's the link to the newsletter of her favorite food blogs:
